Is Burnout Permanent or Temporary?

Here I am sitting in my room in Vegas. I go at least once a month now. I play alot of Poker. Anyway I have a session set up for tonight and I'm not excited at all. I keep thinking this will be the same ole thing. The same things said and do the same things. She will have the same things going on in her life and I will give the same responses. Have any of you out there hobbied so much that you got to this point or am I the only idiot out here. Don't get me wrong I love the chase and the thought of a new experience. It's just seems to be repetitive lately. Maybe I need a couple of shots of my buddy Jack and sit back and get a new perspective. Thoughts????

Burk, As I am typing this I am waiting for a provider to confirm an appointment which is scheduled to begin in 97 minutes, and it takes about an hour to get there when the traffic is good. And I'm thinking, even if she confirms at the last minute, do I really want to do this? And this is a woman who I have hankered after for months!!

I've just gone through a few weeks of burnout. And I took pretty much all of last week off, except to see a dear friend. And it feels so much better now. Sometimes, with any type of activity or hobby, one just needs a break.

I have an excellent client base and so it's not THEM, it's just ME. When that happens, I find a couple of days getting away from the computer and the phone just does the trick (must be a joke in there somewhere).

Add a dose of a little horniness, and that helps as well!

It happens to all of us and you loose the anticipation .
Lot of times your fantasy turns to disappointment and then you find yourself asking yourself - damn the things I do for pussy- Is it worth it?

That's why I go back to a ATF that I know won't disappoint me every so often and it's more like seeing a old friend than the thrill of meeting a new provider.

Sometimes you just have to back off and take a break when that doesn't work...
Take 2 or 3 months off and then sit in a hotel by yourself and loose your ass at the casino.....then you'll think damn I should of spent this money on a provider.

You do anything too much you loose perspective.

Sounds good except the last five times in a row I have gone home with more money than I came with. The poker is paying for everything. I had a winning session last night. I don't play the games in the casino only poker. I cancelled my appt tonight and called my Vegas ATF. She is great at session but she's really funny and maybe that's what I need. Shit here I am winning money and surrounded by beautiful women and I'm bitching. I just love fucking to much to give it a rest . lol

Go back to the basics my friend...never fails...its who makes you happy not necessarily the new flavor of the week.
When i go see one of my atf's im looking for someone who knows me, knows what i like and can leave me with a smile.
And kick the casinos ass - cause that doesnt happen often.

Las Vegas tends to put people in "over load" status. To much, food and fun. If your winning.... then your getting laid for free. Can ANYONE explain the down side here? LOL

Also I know guys who win in Las Vegas and they don't think much about ladies when thats happening. ijs

I know the feeling as well. On my end, it is part guilt (from a re-pressed upbringing) and some form of buyer's remorse (I just blew that much to pop a couple of times). For me, it is a cycle. 1) Horny, 2) Chasing the perfect fuck (looks, activities, etc) 3) Finding the next one and anticipating the date. 4) Psyching myself up for a good time 5) Finally meeting and playing the game 6) Realizing mid-session all the anxiety from the past 7) Leaving with that guilt induced buyer's remorse with the vow to stop playing the game. A few days later, horny as hell and planning my next encounter. There is such a duality going on. I know there are no Julia Roberts' on the other side of the door, yet I convince myself she will open the door. I want the Playboy Playmate with the Hustler Girl attitude, but it never happens. That is one reason I'm looking in the direction of non-pros via Sugardaddy sites and sites like Ashley Madison. Even though a SD/SB is still P4P, it seems less "dirty". And with Ashley Madison, it is a whole different game. Oh well, I know your situation. You aren't the only one.

All things are temporary. Whether its an activity you love, your dream job or your favorite desert. With repetitiveness its just fucking work! or is that working fuck?
Thats why I try to stay low volume/UTR
Take a break recharge your batteries. After a while you will say WTF, this is boring what am I doing wasting my time when I could be playing with Red... LOL
