Tantra

Have you had experience with Tantra, either as a participant/recipient in tantric massage sessions (did you complete the "program"?), or a trainee provider? Did you find it worth the time/money investment? Would it be over-simple for me to label Tantra a fusion of the spiritual and sexual?

I find myself intrigued to the point of distraction - all thoughts are welcome.

Your "fusion" definition is bang-on.

I've been learning about Tantra since my introduction in the early 80's via a lover who wrote a relationship book that included a Tantra chapter, numerous Tantricas, workshops, seminars and lovers with whom I practiced this concept.

Finding a Tantrica who truly believes in the philosophy is a hit and miss proposition. Although many advertise a Tantric experience, most use it as a buzz-word for a HJ, sometimes interspersed with rudimentary deep breathing.. I'm not negating the benefits of a long, slow tug but also not confusing it with the other-worldly, spiritual melding present in Tantric ceremony.

Hope you encounter what you're seeking.and personally feel that my explorations in Tantra have been worth the time/money.
