The TSA should be disbanded, they are less than worthless.
I don't care if it happened or not.
Less than worthless and a waste of our
TAX dollars.

The@Dogs: I am curious, how many terrorist attempts would TSA have to thwart (in total, a year, month, etc) before you would consider them to be of worth?

Yes, 2dogs, the question is whether we will have airport security, or no security. Obviously, the only airport security will have to be the TSA. There is no other way to provide security.
Since I don't want to be called a name caller again, I won't mention that rand asked a ridiculous question. Nope, won't do it.

my first comment ..
"dummy should have shipped it fed x or ups"
walk in a ups store, they pack and ship it, get it to you next day and its insureable .. all for under $50 bucks.
the pragmatic scenario would be ????????????
your imagination keeps tricking you to think you think.

Your argument is that he should have anticipated that a government employee would be so careless and obnoxious that he needed to ship the remains using a private company. While you may be right I do not believe we should accept this level of incompetence from TSA employees.
This is the best argument you have made as to why we should not allow the federal government to do any more than is absolutely necessary. It is not necessary for the federal government to manage airport security.

I do not know of any documented stopping of a terrorist attack by any TSA agent.
I do know of many documented harassment by TSA agents.
Being subjected to what I consider unreasonable search and seizure is a clear violation of my rights under the Constitution. I do not feel any safer after being subjected to the invasive procedures than before.
IN walking through the airport, I am bombarded with a mind numbing recording that reminds me that if I exwercise my right to free speech that I will be arrested. If I speak out against the tyranny of the government while going through the search and seizure process I am told I will be arrested.
How much further do we have to go before we allow all of our rights to be infringed?
The responsibility of safety on each individual aircraft should be the responsibility of the operator of the aircraft and not the government. The difference is that you have a contract with the flight provider and they can subject you to the security they deem adequate. If you do not like the way they do it you fly somebody else.

I have been reading 2Dogs posts for more years than either of us care to remember. But the above post was an absolute first! I can not recall a single instance that he was so critical of his personal hero, George W. Bush.
I think it's kind of funny!
In any event, the TSA is Dub's baby. The agency has GW's DNA all over it!
