Well whether the unfortunate refugee from Adult Education wrote the copy, or her manager, the other member of the team did not exercise due diligence in spell checking. This error occurs fairly often in Backpage ad copy and occasionally on ECCIE. Unfortunately, some ladies become escorts out of necessity while others make their own choices out of intelligence and resourcefulness. The uneducated and poorly skilled make ends meet the best way they can.
At a major medical center in our city, I stood recently waiting for an elevator. A large sign by the entrance extolled the virtues of the hospital in scholarship and service. I could not help but chortle when I noticed they had misspelled the word "strong"...twice.
