This is probably the most critical time in a person's career. The first job, learning the basics of being an employee and providing value to an employer. If we eliminated the minimum wage for teens, at least, we might be able to stem the tide of crime. What are unemployed young people to do? They need to be working. We need to get out of their way.

not sure how old you are but when I was in high school, mid 60's, a bunch of my friends joined the wheat harvest at the end of May, worked all the way to Canada and came up home in September with lots of money

I'm younger than that, but hell, just May through September, LOL. I worked on my grandparents farm every damn minute I wasn't in school and the sun was up, from 10 to graduation, day after, moved the fuck away from there fast. But it did guarantee that hard labor was not going to be any part of my future and provided a great work ethic.

Can't believe nobody came out to support the illegals on this one, or they didn't realize what bird I was killing.
