Over the last week and a half I have been having a (nonhobby related) health issue which put me out of contact. In that time, I NC/NS'd several people and fully expected to come back here to find my reputation in tatters. In fact the last day or so was mostly just gearing up to deal with trying to fix everything. And maybe in the men's section that is just what happened.

But I want to say publicly, to the people that got stood up, to the people that never got a reply, to everyone I blew off, thank you. For not crucifying me. For having the patience to wait until you heard back. For just generally confirming that, as cynical we all get in this business, you are mostly good people.

I have contacted everyone else privately as well, but this matters to me. All I have is my reputation.
