It is easy to sit here and say "tell providers up front that you are black" when you have no idea how it feels. Here we are in 2012 and I still have to justify PAYING for a ladies time when my money is just as green as the next man's. I try to only spend time with providers who have a p411 account and I do state on my p411 profile that I am black. The problem is not the ladies who let me know up front about their NBA policy, it is the "I normally don't see black clients" providers. They wait til they have your donation and start some form of service then throw in, I normally don't see black clients. What normally follows is half arsed service.
Before some genius states, "Ask for your money back and move on or don't give donation til services are rendered". Those geniuses obviously are not black. Usually upon walking into a provider's lair, the donation is requested right away from this black client. It is extremely rare that I have been in a situation where I could wait til the end of the appointment to donate.
This whole "sound black" then is stupid as all get out. I am a well educated person and I do not walk around all day talking slang. I would never make it in the real world if I did. I can sit and talk slang with the best of them but I can also hold an intelligent conversation as well.
So telling a provider up front that I'm black may save me from the NBA providers but how about all clients telling a provider, I'm black, I have a small dick, I will cum in 2 minutes...etc. Do you do that Laz?

I really hate it when the woman doesn't tell me beforehand that she doesn't have ice at her incall.

LMAO TinMan. I try to stay out of drama but sometimes it gets to the point where you have to say something.

To the 2 black gentleman who have identified yourselves on this thread: You have both given very good statements of your positions, and I understand your frustration when the issue comes up. I really do appreciate your mature posts and they definately add to this conversation. I imagine it must be very difficult putting up with the irritations in life when people make assumptions based upon your color and not your character.
Believe it or not, though, being white does not give any particular advantage in this country anymore. To get into Law School, I had to get behind many minorities who were less qualified (on paper) because of affirmative action. Upon graduation, competition was fierce for the top jobs. Black guys and gals with lower class rank than me got magnificent, high paying jobs at the top firms - but I did not. On account of being white, I got no scholarship money and therefore was swimming in debt, working at a second rate firm. I have had to sit back and keep my mouth shut and read in the paper when his firm issued press releases telling the world how great one of my classmates is, when he is just a hack in a two thousand dollar suit!
I have even had an asian girl at an amp turn me down.
There is no easy way for the girls to handle this issue. They truly cannot please everyone, and it is probably in their best interest to avoid it whenever possible, because white people start out on the defensive when race is brought up.
You both sound like good guys to me, and plenty of great gals here will see you, so good luck out there.

Sorry dude, this is ridiculous. Why are you even bringing up affirmative action in this situation. Who cares. So sorry for your plight, it's so hard being white. LOL!

There are many different groups/segments of people who get the short end of the stick at times. I hope I didn't come off like I was complaining about the situation because the situation is what it is and there is not much I can do about that. What got me going and will continue to get me going is when I read comments like "get over it" or "did you tell her your race".
I appreciate the encouraging words. I lived part of my childhood in an all black city then moved to literally an all white city. I have seen the good of bad of many people, regardless of race. My unique childhood allowed me to see the benefits of affirmative action to minorities and the other side of it to non-minorities. Again, thanks for adding something constructive to the discussion.

I am not trying to speak for him but it is my opinion that he brought it up to make a valid point that there are 2 sides to every coin. I don't believe he was trying to stir up anything. Just my thoughts.

you're right, i dont know how you feel about this cos i'm not you.
but i have felt discrimination, being outcasted, and marginalized because of my heritage and ethnicity. i even got a negative review from a course i taught cos i had a beard - and this from a guy who smoked a cigar during class [when it was legal to smoke in offices]. it's those stupid fucks loss for being so close minded.
wrt paying and then getting "half arsed service" [which is another form of ignorance on her part], i suggest that the next time this happens, you write a post or review stating what happened so others will know what sort of close minded woman she is.
much as Blade5150 did naming Asian Champagne.
again, sorry you two had to go thru a way less than deliteful experience.

Well all I can say Blade, is that she missed out on a good time. Your appearance is nothing to be disappointed about either.Plus you are mature, clean and a complete gentleman. Sorry she has *issues* but there are plenty of ladies on here that do not. I look forward to seeing you again!!

I'm a realist- I think a provider should state in her ad if she
does not wish to see certain clients, but if I were a black guy
I would ask for no other reason than not wanting to waste my
time and a drive for nothing. And if she told me she doesn't
normally see black guys but would see me anyway, I would pass.
I knew a girl that was whiter than I am, and she would only
date black guys, so what, it was her preference.

I have met several providers who have had bad experiences with younger black men being too rough and scared them. It becomes a safety issue with some of these younger woman providers. I cant imagine how hard it must be to be a woman and let strangers of any color into your home or hotel room these days. I also agree that AC should have it listed in her profile, so I emailed her and she has since corrected this issue. She is a very sweet gal, just pretty new at all of this.

wrt your guess as to why, rather than guess, just leave it as she said "through the door while over the phone that you Don't See Black Men!"
and while i believe it would be great if she informed potential clients that she does not see black me, i also believe that african-american or of african heritage men should inform the woman of that fact to be sure.
or any other condition that one might think the woman might not accept [midgets, balloons, whipped cream, etc., etc., etc.]
as chipper so wisely wrote...
"Communicate and your problems will be mostly solved."
they dont call it intercourse for nothing :^)

Now I know you didn't mean anything by this, but that doesn't make it not funny. Is being black considered a condition now? If so where the hell is my government check....HA HA HA HA!!!
Just giving you a hard time PM. No malicious intent at all.
