There was one mention of an aircraft that has always fascinated me, the Northrop P-61 Black Widow.

There currently is one of them being restored. If you look at the photos, pretty much built from scratch, at an air museum in Reading, PA.

one historical factoid about this night fighter. it was the last fighter to shoot down a fighter at end of WWII.
