+1 Downforwhatever. I really miss Michael Irvin's show. I like sports talk and used to listen to the ticket a lot when it was a sports station. I'll wander there occassionally now but usually don't stay long anymore. Love Norm- he belongs on ESPN radio.
Can't stand Dan and wish Bob would get a new partner that knows something about sports and isn't condescending. (I'm having fun here, no?)
Lastly, and also unsolicited, I wish Newy would go away forever from radio and tv. He is TERRIBLE.
What's really funny is that some of these guys are probably reading this right now because they hobby also but we will never know who they are with these "handles." Wouldn't it be hilarious if Mike Rheiner is Logan (famous for his street escapades around town)?

I love the 8:40 bit with the "fake" characters. My fav is when Fake Greggo auditioned for American Idol and threw in a little dance when his singing didn't cut it. Fake Tiger is almost always radio gold when "The Courage Boys" call him at 8:40.

Yes I will admit that I love the fake Tiger. I laugh my butt off when he is on. Just thinking of the way he says "Musers" in that wimpy yet whimsical tone cracks me up.

+1 on the fake Tiger
The musers have a lot of great bits.
Here is a small list of my favorites(Because everyone loves lists)
Fake Jerry Jones
The Skinlanin Brothers
Fake Mark Cuban
Dr. Carlton Maxwell
Just wish I was up early enough to listen to them more often.
The greatest Ticket moment ever has to be Nolan Ryan's retelling of the snow monkey story at ticket stock during a round table. Makes me giggle thinking of all the uncontrollable snickering and stifled laughs as everyone tries to hold themself together.
The two things I look forward to the most on the ticket every year:
White Elephant Day and the Ticket Compound

I might have liked Michael Irvin's show had it not been for the complete inability to understand anything he was saying. And when The drug dealer came on, even worse.
Cowherd is incredibly arrogant and I can only listen to him for so long. Pretty soon it becomes a beating and he must go away. I am also pretty sick of hearing why Seattle is such a great place. Seattle has the highest suicide rates for a pretty good reason. It is too damn depressing to never see the sun.

Does anyone at The Ticket hobby? Hmmmmmmm?
So, if you had to predict:
1) Which Ticket personality or crew member is MOST likely to hobby?
2) Which is LEAST likely?

1) Norm
2) Danny
Norm because he is old and probably has no game to go get anyone on his own. Danny because he probably doesn't make enough.

after reading the posts...i sucked it up, turned off ESPN and listened to the ticket for one whole day
i feel like my sports IQ dropped 60 points...and i'd gone back in time to the 80's morning-drive "ZOO" format...all the fake characters, voices and crap
all they need is some goofball to ring a bell or toot a whistle after every lame joke
I wish Russ Martin would get his ass back to work

Somethin' I've been wondering.
I recognize Donovan's voice from somewhere else. Didn't he use to be "Sam from sales - the salesman who sells from both sides of the desk" on WBAP???

DFW,
If you read all the posts you would know that you won't "get it" if you only listen for a day. If all you want are arrogant dudes telling you your sports opinions then by all means stick with ESPN. That really is not what the ticket is about.

DFW,
Boltfan is right. I agree the Ticket is not as sports intensive as ESPN but then again that's not what i am looking for. What they try to do is create the same kind of atmosphere as if you were sitting around hangin out with your buddies and cracking jokes and talkin sports. That's what I like about it personally. If I want sports facts, that's what the internet is for. Or I just listen to Norm.
Again, it is definitely not like ESPN but the Ticket gets you involved in sports in a different way. I'll be the first to admit that I don't listen to the Ticket for their ability to breakdown the cover two but again, that's not what I am looking for.

In another lifetime he was Kevin McCarthy's producer at KLIF.
