Question for the Ladies and Gents

Nope - not pissed at all. But I do take issue with people who would claim to be better than others. You don't know "why" until you been there ---- and most people here haven't been there --- thank goodness.

Never anything about being better than someone else, just wanted opinions of would guys see someone at that price and did it effect the way other ladies set their rates with others going down and down. Thats all.

I completely agree. During the years of me doing this, I've often seen what I call the "Hierarchy of Harlots" and it bothers me when I see it.

Which means, to me, ladies think that they're better than such and such because they charge more. Or they're not working in the streets. Or they're charging $500 instead of $200 (I see this one personally a lot.)

Basically, we're all the same. The parameters are different. And believe me, if it were necessary to get food on the table, I would be holding one of those cardboard signs on the street corner saying, "Will fuck for food". Well, perhaps not really, but you know what I mean.

I liked how Tiffany responded. I generally do. Let's not be so quick to judge.

Also, the fabric of this business is changing. Because women are getting into escorting by the droves these days, it's causing the prices to spiral down because they just don't know better. If you can make a hundred bucks by having sex with a man, why work at Walmart, right?

Add to that the flux of sugarbabies on the market, and now it's time to just shake my head.

Yes. From a very realistic viewpoint, seeing all of these ladies charging next to nothing is making a difference overall. I just spoke to a very nice older and larger woman yesterday.

She seems to be doing VERY well but she changes a lot less than I do. $150 an hour. And she's a nice woman. I highly suspect that she offers a good experience for her clients. It's just a guess but I bet that I'm right.

So who is a guy going to choose if we're basically the same package. I might have a larger vocabulary, but most of the time who cares about that?

It's something that I think about a lot these days. Heck, we all need to just be aware of market trends.

Thanks for everyones imput, was just wondering some thoughts and you have made them very well. It does make you think EW about prices and todays times with so many ladies. GOod for the gents i am sure for variety but can be hard on the ladies too as you spoke about with so many.

I hate to sound businesslike, but it seems to me that the QoS increases as the rate does. From what I have seen so far, $40 and $50 deals means there's a catch. You're either going to get shitty service, or there's an upsale in there somewhere. I don't know about the $80-$90 providers, but it seems to me that quality service doesn't start until the $100 - $150 range.

Not always.

I've paid for services in the $150 range and have had less than memorable experiences. I've paid a couple of hundred dollars and had the service seem almost robotic. I paid $400 for an hour of service with a provider who was well reviewed at the time and found myself wishing she'd NC/NS'd me.

There's another provider that charges me $50 for a half hour. I've seen her, off and on, for years. I've never had a bad experience with her, if you discount two occasions where it was short notice and she was a bit late. We laugh, we cuddle, we snuggle, we chat, we bitch, we have fun. I can remember, fondly, every single session I've had with her.

Of course, I don't have a problem with cats.

Call me weird, but I greatly prefer women who require multi-hour appointments and are on the higher rate side. I reserch thouroughly before hand, and I m pretty selective. I am looking for quality experience, not quantity. However, along with that comes expectations of a truly outstanding time and experience.

No, that is merely the door cover charge. Drinks, ashtray, table cloth and a chair are an extra charge. "Oh, and you want entertainment sir?" I would not expect one iota of the GFE date I seek.

Another point, the reputable ladies, such as those who posted in this thread, have little respect for the gent who thinks every Provider should meet Wal-Mart pricing.

I suppose in most areas, not just this one, that is true. But there are always some pleasant suprises. I am a new girl and I have my prices at the lower end of the spectrum. (not 40 low) I also advertise on BP. Even with the lower price I have been asked if I would see someone for less. Not going to happen as usually it's not enough to even cover getting a place to have the session. I know I am not everyone's cup of tea, but I do give my all to my clients whether they are coming to see me for a short session or a longer one. I would like to be that pleasant suprise one finds
