Travel. And guns/shooting... hard to save $3k for a new rifle when I consider that's a bunch of fun with the girls, or a week in CZM (with diving).

Travel and hiking. Living in Austin/Texas makes me seek the mountains, the beach is good for a day or two then I am bored, much better to blow beets at 12,000' from altitude sickness.

I have learned over the years to combine my two favorite hobbies; Travel and Ladies.
I travel abroad frequently, been to practically every corner of the globe, including North Pole and Antarctica, but I am now in my SEE AMERICA phase.
So I plan my travels, most recently Seattle, San Francisco, Monterey, and research the board for the local ladies to be my "Hands On Guide" to their city.
It is really rewarding, you learn all the local haunts, stay away from the tourist traps, and get to meet some wonderful ladies in the process.
I highly recommend it, combining your hobbies!
Now lets all grab a local provider and go skydive naked!!
(True story; I skydived naked once on a dare; a video to prove it, but trust me, it was not a pretty sight hahahaha.)

I am a Nothern Cali lover...Napa/Sonoma...found Monterray to be COLD even in the summertime, but just down the coast Carmel is uber cool. Sausilito is my favorite small town in that area. Breathtaking sunrises....Spent a couple years traveling to the Bay area on business with extended layovers...amazing city & area.
Did you do the Pike brewery in Seattle? Fish market? Cool city, but I hate the traffic.
Recommendation is Vancouver, Ca with a side trip to Victoria, B.C. beautiful city, nice people, fun times.
Next check off the bucket list is outside of Fairbanks, Alaska to see & film the northern lights...ever been? Looks like an incredible trip to take.

I just got back from Cental America and had a blast! So I guess I like traveling and seeing new sites. I like movies, going out, doing things with the kiddo and attending some sports games.
Other than traveling, my hobbies are pretty cheap, lol.

I like to shoot and really wouldn't mind having the $ to throw down for a pair of scopes/mounts for around $2k. Not to mention I run through enough ammo during some range trips to pay for a fun 30 min. Damn, I used to think public golf was expensive!
Also, for you girls, what is it you like to spend that hard earned money on?

I like shooting also. Just got into reloading. You may want to look into it if your dropping a session aver 30 minutes.
A nice deer lease would limit the funds for a short period but would be worth it.

Try kayaking the Alaska Passage; an experience of a lifetime, the sharp bite of the air, the utter stillness except for the slice of your paddle in the water..
You can also drive to Dungeness and then take the car ferry over to Victoria and bicycle your way around the countryside...
Even if you are seasoned traveller to Seattle, always take a trip through Pikes Market, I usually eat my way from one end to the other, then across the street to the original Starbucks...
The first time I walked in, I fell to the floor, raised my arms high, and shouted " I made it to the Mother Ship!! I'm home!! I got free coffee!
And Pikes Brewery for the Sampler Plate of beers is a must!
I know Northern California like the back of my hand, and am now exploring Southern Cali, staying in Carmel, and actually jumping out of my car and stomping across the golf course at Pebble Beach and jumping back in the car before the snipers found me!
Definately go to Alaska for the Northern Lights; you can stand there, looking all around you, and it will make you feel like the least signiifcant thing on the planet; it is truly something to behold...

Traveling the world would be right up there but its like the $1k hooker - not quite as tempting when it's simply not affordable. I do have to get back out to hiking/camping state parks like Pedernales though.
Skydiving is too scary. Not the actual falling, but the idea that it is more addicting than crack so I don't even want to try it.
Boss, I just don't have the time to reload. I considered it for some time but I'm really only interested in reloading on a small scale to make accurate long range rounds. I'd spend more on the equipment than I'd get back in 10 years shooting. I do actually have enough time to get out and sight in an optic on a FAL this week so I got that goin for me..... which is nice.

Am mobile so can't type a respectable response, but isn't diving out of the car at "bird rock" and walking around thd Pebble Beach fairway a rush?!?!
Try dinner at Isabel & Satori on the wharf...old school but excellent! Have a great time as I know you will!
