From your list, I would say...
West Houston but not far out to Katy.
Stafford & Sugar Land, but not pass Highway 6.
Also, try Southwest area - Southwest Freeway (Hwy 59) between Loop 610 and Beltway 8.

I had to change schedule.......priceline/hotwire have no decent hotels......I checked every area and every hotel!

Same as Dallas, I'll be in Houston presumably in June instead. I tried every travel site I could think of, individual hotels, and nada. Sorry Houston

Well unfortunately your phone/email are dead silent unless you're in the Galleria - at least in my admittedly limited experience. I got a lot of emails that were like "Interested in you. Will you be in the Galleria? If not I won't see you"

well I did get a hotel..at least for tuesday & wednesday...out north near the airport!! Yeahhhhhhhhh!!!

I'll only be staying one night, I got a 4 star hotel on hotwire under 100 bucks at a downtown hotel. If you guys can't find a room I don't mind having a sleepover lol.

Also 25th Anual O'Riley Auto Parts NHRA @ the Baytown Speedway---I am in Baytown and there is nooo freakin parking at my Hotel.. And of corse they jacked the prices up this week end.
