Honestly babee, I don't think the color of it makes a flip. He's known to eat all shapes, sizes, and colors too!

Atlcomedy.....formal request here....lay off him. Our staff are here to assist our members on a volunteer basis, and alot of them are new. Were not just born with the instinct to make the perfect call on matters we become involved with....alot of that skill and judgement is developed over time.

If you feel the need to "call out" one of my staff for taking what you feel is an inappropriate action you are free to do so, so long as it's handled properly. Use the RTM and report the thread/post so we can look it over. Locking threads prematurely is one of my pet peeves, but I also don't believe in allowing threads that have become a trainwreck to run on and on after they've outlived any possible value they could bring to this board. In any case, I will look over any threads you're concerned with and make a determination. My staff, myself included, is human and can make mistakes...and I'm not above saying so.

This thread will stay open for now until I decide it's over. Don't be surprised, given your conduct of the past few weeks, if some members come along and turn the tables. Some of that is happening already. You're a good guy and I tend to like your writings, but you've begun to get far too aggressive with others and it's time to pull back the reins for your own good.

I'm going to ask PPE to stay off this thread. He does alot for us around here, and simply does not need this kind of grief.

I'm offended primarily because the "parody" wasn't even funny...it came off as poorly disguised douchebaggery, the whiney follow up thread calling out a mod that was just doing his job wasn't exceptionally entertaining either.

Update: I took a look at the "parody" thread and I would have locked it too. Getting your kicks at the expense of other members is something I don't take kindly to. Take note of that.

I don't know Alt, have read some of his posts, seems like a nice enough guy. I do not have an issue with controversial conversation, but agree that his recent tone could be an issue.

The reason I am posting here at all is the fact that someone called out PPE. I have known him for some time now and will say that in all my dealings with him as a fellow hobbyist and now a mod that I do not know of another individual that is more cool, calm and level headed.

All the mods here have always been fair in the end. I may not agree with all decisions, but can respect the job they have at hand and appreciate their volunteer work.

There is nothing exciting about just the word purple. So, a pause after purple leaves us with ehhh. So what? However, say Purple Pussy and then pause . . . You have the crowd's attention. They wait with anticipation. What is this Purple Pussy? Should we fear it? Should we run? What? What? And then a sigh of relief. We shall eat it. Everyone smiles and hugs. So, pause is definitely after pussy.

Actually, yes there is one individual I can think of that is more cool, calm, and level headed than PPE.
