Gentlemen That Use Me For A Ref. Just A Heads Up

Hi guys I just wanted to say thank you to all you great guys.

Now I also need to let you guys know something I will NO LONGER provide ref. for you if you have not been to see me within the last 3 mon. Every 3 monthes i will redo my list of ok guys and destroy the 3 months before so i will have NO way to give you a ref. unless you have seen me within that time period.

Not a client, but just confused by your wording...

Is that a rolling 3 months or do you literally sit down every three months (say Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1, Oct 1) and purge anyone that you haven't seen the previous quarter? If that's the case guys really have up to 6 months depending on how the timing works out.

You keep a list for three month? Now that is scary. Probably includes phonenumbers, too.

Guys its not an acutal list on a piece of paper. I am a low volume provider so i remember who i have seen and who i havent seen within a certain period of time. I choose to 4get who hasent seen me after 3 monthes and will NOT give them a ref. when somebody calls. I have NEVER had sercurity issues so im not sure why you think it is soooo scary.

I guess i can make it easier... If you come see me say April 20 then i will gladly be a ref. for you untill July.. No longer No shorter.

Also not a client, but this seems to raise an obvious question. Does this mean that someone who hasn't seen you in over 3 months will also need to again provide you with references before you'll see them again? If not, it would seem a bit inconsistent if you'll see them, but not vouch for them.

I don't think that we need to tear Kaci apart to determine every single detail of her business practices. She posted this to inform those gentlemen to whom it was relevant that she has a new policy. She is well-known and reputable, and I'm guessing that she has some very good reasons for doing what she is doing. I can think of a few reasons that I may start something very similar. I know that I have a method of record-keeping that is completely anonymous to everyone but me. I also know that I would not be willing to share how it works because this is an open forum. Anyone can read it.

Kaci, I know that this post was not directed toward the ladies, but I thought that it was nice of you to inform the gents. If they haven't seen you recently, it will save them some time.

I 100% think we should be able to in a civil way discuss her business practices. And I don't think we should have to be positive. She chose to post here. This is the "Main Discussion" board not the "Announcements" section.

And that is my problem, Kaci. Men who have never even seen you feel that they should take it upon themselves to make implicating statements about your level of privacy? That doesn't sound civil to me. If a gent is truly worried that you are, in fact, keeping his name, phone number, etc. somewhere on record, then he can contact you to find that out. If you were doing such a thing and refused to stop, then maybe the gents should know. Given what I do know about you, I highly doubt that you are. I know I certainly don't openly discuss the intricacies of my business with random strangers.

Oh stop, atl. I can't speak for the others, but I'm actually quite alright. I just think that people are trying to expose something that isn't there. They're also questioning something that isn't their business. I stick by my words.

I understand that this probably wasn't the right place for Kaci to post. I still don't think that people should then feel entitled to say the things that were said tonight. I think that almost every lady keeps some kind of paper, computer, or phone record of her gentlemen. The question is whether or not someone with all of her information could determine the identity of the guys. Nothing Kaci said would have made me come to the conclusion that she has records that she shouldn't. According to the things she said, she could simply be keeping track of dates as well as one piece of memorable, non-identifying information about each guy. If she remembers them all, then that's all she would need. I can think of a few other innocent methods she could be using as well.

I know that many of the girls would be afraid to post something like the above paragraph for fear of being attacked. I know that my methods are safe and so do my clients. When my clients ask me what information I keep and how I keep it, I tell them. I have not had a complaint so far.

It must be nerve-wracking for the guys who don't know what we do with their information. I would want to know what the ladies do, too. There are a lot of things I'd like to know that I don't ask, however, because I want to respect other people's rights to privacy. You guys who have had no business with Kaci absolutely do have a right to question, just as every man on the street has the right to openly question what I weigh. I would never answer that, though, because I don't think I should have to. We'll say 110, ok?

You're welcome, Kaci. I will always poke my head out when I read something I strongly agree or disagree with. I just hope that everyone understands our reasoning. Guys, we're not saying these things because we're in "bad spirits." I'm sorry if I contributed to that assumption...I tried to make this post a little more light-hearted. I just feel that Kaci was being unfairly judged here.

ATL look hun this was not something that was really up for discusion except for the guys that i have seen before. I travel all over the USA so i felt that this was the proper place for it to be put. You have done nothing to night but try to stir the pot and get a reaction out of me. A year ago you may would have gotten one but not now. I dont mind anwswering questions but when you flat out disrespect me on an open forum then i dont feel the need to answer to you or anybody eles. If you were a client of mine and asked what i keep or dont keep no problem ill be more than happy to tell you that information, But you are somebody i have NEVER met nor exchanged any kind of contact with at all so why do you feel the need to discuss anything about how i run my bussiness?
