I am a glutton for punishment. but....I have seen on boards where donations might be negotiated
ladies-- do you negotiate and if you do, do you enjoy as much as when it might be the published rate.
Guys-- do you negotiate and expect the ladies to do likewise. And expect the same level of enjoyment as the published rate.

And if I am a dick for asking, then it wont be the first time today.

The only time that I have sorta negotiated was when a girl has cancelled with no notice and they know I went through a lot to try to see them. Even then I try to let the girl make it better on her own since it can be a mood killer to haggle.

I do not consider it negotiating when a girl quotes a price, but it is clearly posted elsewhere in their ads or profiles for something less.

I never ask...But there have been times where a provider will say "ill do it for this amount or this amount of time...and in appreciation I might or might not take her up on that...

I agree that asking is tacky...but not sure negotiating is...especially if the provider is the one that starts down that road!

If the lady is offering you a discount, its of her own doing and not because some guy wants to save a buck.

Well I am retired without the funds I once had. $200 for a half hour is out of my range If I would have known the prices were brought down from the mt. I would not be known as a cheap ass. All she has to say is I am not interested in your offer kick back with a beer and watch Phil.

Unless you're selling contraband out of the trunk of your car or are in a street corner market of a third world nation (have you seen Casablanca), don't haggle.

When a provider states her rates - that's her rates. If she offers a discount, then that is of her own choosing (as stated above) - regardless of the reasons.

There is an exception - there's always an exception - if the provider does not state her rates in her showcase, website or ad or says "contact me", THEN it is perfectly appropriate for the hobbyist to let the provider know "I have $x amount" or some other method of inquiring about the rate as a starting point and see where it goes. But if the rate is clearly stated in any of the provider's marketing, then that's the bottom line.

If I cannot find the rate through an ad or a showcase or maybe a review. I don't call to schedule. Maybe I am too careful but the question of how much for what leads to a lot of other issues. My personal theory.

I don't negotiate. If he only has X amount to play with, I'll tell him there are plenty of ladies that are in his price range if he looks in the right places.
There is someone for everyone, if I'm not "it" for a gentleman, I'm sure there are 3 times as many providers that are.

I don't haggle with ladies, however this analogy doesn't quite work.

I don't haggle at the grocery store. I do haggle when I go to the Farmer's Market. Strawberries are $5 per pound? How about five pounds for $20? Can you throw in some of those rhubarb stalks?

It is more acceptable to haggle with someone who is not operating out of a storefront, who is clearly self-employed and who sets his or her own prices.

To translate to the escorting world, that's like finding it OK to haggle with an independent lady, but not with an agency.

But as I said at the top and as others have said, I don't haggle with ladies. it's tacky.

I have never offered a lower rate in fact often tip more when things are good . I have asked a couple ladies I clicked with for rates for multi hrs or overnights and have negotiatied those rates but it was mutual. She gave me a reasonable rate for the time, I politely said I could do no more than xxxxxx they accepted my offer and we had a blast and never negotiated again!!

This keeps coming up and I just don't get it. Never haggle over the price. Its that simple. However, I have been told by some ladies that the time and activities can be negotiatied. When I say this I don't mean she says 200 dollars for an hour and you reply 200 for an hour and 20 minutes. I mean if you are looking for say 2-3 hours or more time and activities can be hashed out.

For example lets say you want to spend some time with a lady, and you offer to take her to dinner midway through the date. The lady might not consider that "session time" but it needs to be made clear prior to setting things up. Some ladies have no problem enjoying dinner at a nice place, having a drink or two, and then going back for round 2. A lot of the ladies I have seen are very generous with their time as long as you are nice, respectful, and clean.

The price is the price, if you don't want to pay it, don't disrespect the lady by attempting to haggle it down. Just ask for the price and if its not what you are looking for move on. Most ladies will understand and there is nothing that says you can't still be friends.
