hm...Allie..mentoring a provider....not able to find the word/definition in my dictionary....and may not see it rest of my life.

On the other hand would like to be mentored by a hot & sexy provider all the time...preferably a plus size model like the ones below.

I have two providers in mind in KC market that fall under my dreams (one local and one visitor), have to fulfill my dreams.

Interesting. I voted "no" a while ago and I will hold to that. I am surprised that it is about 50/50. Forget about the possible legal problems or boyfriend/pimp problems. If you are mentoring someone then it takes time and effort - and you have to be readily available to the person you are mentoring. You are getting into a serious relationship! Ifyou have that kind of time and availability - why not just have a relationship with someone you are NOT paying?.

I have a wife, I don't think she would take very kindly to the idea of " Honey, I just have to have lunch with this escort I am mentoring."

It has been said that escorts are not paid for sex, they are paid to go away AFTER sex. My idea of an escort is someone with whom I can have have warm, affectionate sex and then leave without any repercussions. I don't want another relationship!

I don't think if you're "mentoring" than you are or should be a "client." Truth is no one knows what any individuals background is. There could be "non-providers" who have or now hobby who know more about the biz than some experienced providers, or who are former providers, etc...

Kind of a general question. Some folks might have grown up in places where they knew many providers and were not one themselves, or have interactions with providers in a business sense and could mentor or whatnot.. again... backgrounds, experience, etc are all tooo varied I think to say NO, it can't happen, but an individual could do so.

In fact, some providers shouldn't mentor... we only need one of them... lol

my cents...

It just amazes me how no matter how many times you provide the reasons not to do it, there are so many guys willing to put themselves in that position. Oh well, its the same reason they will see a provider after the provider has 6 bad reviews, then when it bites them in the ass they will scream why, why, why.

How would a client mentor an escort?

Everybody knows it's YMMV with newbies escort because each girl comes in with different amounts of sexual experience. And what they do not have when they start, they will gain with experience ( if they are a good provider) That's the fun thing about learning on the job over time you find different techniques for different guys. I would find a client-provider mentorship as very sketchy. Sure you can work on this one guy until you know everything he likes but he is just one person- escorts are good because they are versatile, attuned to each guys need and that is something you can only learn with time in my opinion.

I wouldn't go out of my way too mentor a fellow provider, I could point her in the right direction but every provider is different and I would feel as though I would be imposing my standards onto her. If they needed advice every know and then sure, but I would just think of her as a friend not someone I am mentoring.

I used to help new providers establish their business for side money. It was $80/month for 3 ads a day on craigslist (Vancouver craigslist would get 1-2k ads per day, so you needed to post a minimum of 2-3 to even be noticed). I would do their website for $350, $400 if I had to write the content too. I referred them to some good blogs, and Amanda Brooks books to get them started on the right path in terms of screening, prices, advertising venues, taxes, etc.

I'm thinking the reason the 'Yes' option is so popular is that providers are clicking on it as well. I don't think many clients would risk it.

or maybe a lot more would than you think and just don't post? That's speculation at best. Who knows really....

Maybe someone should just start a Consulting service, I mean, everyone knows consulting is where the real money is

The poll shows up on the main forum when you post one, so I'm pretty sure a lot of providers clicked it without reading that it was mostly intended for the clients. It's my bad, I should have been more specific.
