This post is not directed at anyone specific, and everyone in general.
I saw a provider this week who is by-and-large UTR. Her last ad of any kind that I know of was April 9th. She said, and I quote, "I'm on track for a $1,000 day."
Now I'm thinking, obviously this does not represent everyone, but it no doubt represents many. As well, this is not an everyday event, but still, there is no doubt that any provider who wants to could easily produce six figures annually after all expenses if she wanted to.
In the "professional world", that kind of income normally dictates at least a degree of due diligence in regard to appointments and time management. For that reason alone, any provider who does not respect MY time and honor an agreed upon appointment does not get a second chance and does get a negative review. All of these lame-ass excuses would land you jobless anywhere but this profession. I have never heard of so many phone issues, car issues, multiple family members dying and dogs eating homework in a line of business as I have this one. Of course then you have the classic, flat out NCNS and "oh well" attitude. If more guys would "fire" these providers who play this game … I know, you guys only think with one head and it's not the big one. You see a little pussy and all of the sudden your brain goes into "I'm the chosen one" mode. Thus the game continues.
