Let's talk about cigars....

I'm in the north Dallas area, and for buying, I like Two Brothers in downtown Plano or jrcigars, atlanticcigar, or mdcigars online. As for someplace that is cigar friendly to go eat and light up, my number one favorite is Chamberlains in Addison. They have a cigar lounge separate from the main dining area with a big screen, and a piano man on weekend nights. It's upscale though, so if I'm just kicking it around town in a Tshirt, I'll go to Sherlocks Addison, Sneaky Pete's Lewisville, or Fox and Hound Lewisville. All three of those places have great eye candy as well. As for the cigar and the bj thing, I actually seek that out often from some of our great providers that are known to smoke themselves at times. You'd be surprised how many are very happy to accommodate me on my "fetish". I have taken ladies from this site to Sherlocks and to Chamberlains as well and had a GREAT time.

I didnt say you cant get them but some store tell you they are cubans and are not. I choose to smoke them out of the country because they are illegal here.

Javier's great and because they are in the Park Cities the Dallas Ban doesn't affect them.

Elite Cafe in Addison is great! It has three separate areas: The Actual Cigar Store with smoking area, the Bar/Cafe and an outside patio.

Rick's Topless Club at 183 and Amon Carter has views and food but caution bring your own smokes, theres are quite pricey.

One of my favorites is Primorosa by Sancho Panza (a medium flavor from Honduras) but it is sometimes difficult to locate. I normally use JRCigar or Fink Cigar in San Antonio (the only remaining American cigar manufacturer in the USA).

As for where to enjoy a smoke ... (1) a new cigar lounge, EnFuego Cigars, recently opened in Frisco. It’s a BYOB venue but they have sporting events on several TVs and a bar so that you can mix what you bring. And you can smoke your own, although they hope you will buy theirs - not overly priced. I am surprised the smoking Nazis allow such behavior. Or you can sit in the open patio next door and order your favorite from eSpiritu bar and enjoy a smoke in the shade. It's really quite nice - except for the lack of feminine accompaniment. (2) The smoking Nazis have not yet closed Addison and there are several establishments welcoming cigar smokers. (3) This evening @ 6 PM I will be on my front porch with fine cigars and a pitcher of mint juleps enjoying the LSU season opener. Yeah, I know, the opponent is UNT but it is still LSU Football! If I could somehow just add semi-clad nubile willing women to the mix ... pretty close to perfect!!!

Perhaps at some point we could have a 'Hobby' Smoke-Out. Or do we all stay UTR? I love a great cigar, some whisky and good convo.

I go to the Elite Cigar Cafe and like it. They're helpful, have a good sized humidor and a full bar. They also boast of having the best french dip sandwich in town but mine is better. There's a patio to relax on and the cafe is right at Midway and Beltline.

I usually go for a medium body stick. Oliva V, Romeo y Julieta (Dominican, not the Romeo #2 ), Rocky Patel, Arturo Fuente, the occasional Gurkha or a mild house roll. In the fall, I take my humidor to the office and share a little piece of Havana that's been rolled on the thighs of virgins As for the forbidden fruit, it tastes like contraband but that doesn't make it better.

Edit to add: I always stock a few Opus X, twice a year!

Javier's is a great cigar bar with a LOT of good young talent running around.. I used to burn 4-5/ week.. Gave them up a few years ago.. Was a great way to relax though.. Enjoy!!

Tatuaje J21, Punch Rare Corojo, CAO America, Royal Gold Jamaica. I love picking up some local stuff when I travel, like Alec Bradley Gotham (NYC) or Hoffman House (Chicago). Have enjoyed Cohiba Especiales and Montecristo #2 when traveling abroad.

I enjoy smoking at any of the Fox & Hounds and just about any place with a patio. Twin Peaks is great also, as the girls like to take an interest in anything white collar.

When I lived in Manhattan, I'd often hit up any of the cigar bars there. Carnegie, Macanudo, Merchants were always 50-50 for having a girl or two trolling for a party. Made for some very fun taxi rides home.
