I think i'll wait and see what can be done with the iPad after jailbreaking it. If it can be forced to multitask and the camera-kit really does add the USB port...I may consider one when Gen-2 hits.

As is - its a piece of garbage, expensive garbage at that. Look at the Microsoft Courier if you want features.

As to the uses? Endless. I travel a lot and thought that my 4" Creative Zen Vision W was good for watching movies while on the plane. Can't wait to see what a movie looks like on the 10" iPad. Ebooks should be good too. Applications? The only reason I ever wanted to get an iPhone was for the apps - now everything that will run on an iPhone also runs on an iPad and more apps are being developed.

I'm going to wait until later this year or when version 2 is released, 1st gen Apple products are always known for software & hardware issues. I've done this just about all my Apple products.

Multitasking for iPad won't be available until Fall when its OS 4 gets released.

why do you guys use the hobby phone..just to avoid/hide your original number? ..well there are lot of utilities on net with which you can have your unique masking number which will be local likv for here starting with 972 or 214 or 469

i can help if any one is interested in saving his/her monthly 40-50 bucks
