Tsk, tsk, tsk, CBJ7. It's unmanly of you to snivel so much in public; your ego will never mend. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Would you learned people mind telling who wanted to have the Dixie Chicks arrested? Let me remind you as a lawyer, Allred is an officer of the court and not a regular big mouth citizen.

How about Death threats. But then that does not paint the whole as doing it like this thread tried to do with the left. One sstupid ass femnizi lawyer....

http://books.google.com/books/about/...d=jPRyhi84CiMC

When lead singer Nathalie Maines criticized President George W. the music group became country radio pariahs overnight. Enduring lost airtime, plummeting album sales, record burning rallies, and death threats, the Dixie Chicks Soldiered on, without apology or regrets. Gradually and with great determination, they built a new fan base and climbed back up to the top, triumphing at the 2006 Grammy Awards and starring in a documentary about their struggles. This is their story, with all of its exhilarating, poignant, and inspiring ups, downs, and ultimate vindication.

You mean like the death threats that Rush Limbaugh has been recieving from the tolerant left? How about that bomb scare? Has anyone threatened to hurt Fluke? I didn't think so. What do they call that.... oh yes, hoist on your own petard.

What ever happened to the Dixie Chicks anyway?

Allred is a tiresome attention-whore, no doubt. And, that criminal statute she cites in her letter would never stand up to a constitutional challenge.

A civil suit for defamation would be much more interesting. Free speech has limits in a non-criminal civil courtroom JD, even a knuckle-draggin moron like you should understand that, although I might be giving you too much credit. I couldn't help but laugh at your original post..."Gloria Allred has represented numerous people, though mostly women"....as if representing "women" is some sort of badge of shame and the better angels of our species deserve less representation. You're such a stupid asshole and you don't even realize that your posts perfectly exemplify it.

Anybody who gets their name in the paper will receive a death threat from somebody. There are a lot of sickos out there. It's sad when we think we can suppress speech by threats, rather than well thought out responses.

And GP is right, the way to hurt Limbaugh is to use your right to not listen to him, or buy from his advertisers. The best way to combat unpopular speech is to ignore it. People have the right to speak, you have no obligation to listen. Want to stop speech you don't like? Ignore it. Simple.

And I'll answer your question, Doofe: No

One more thing, moron. Haven't you posted up that you teach at the college level? Maybe I just imagined it, and I hope so. Because it is absolutely astonishing that somebody who teaches (at any level) is unaware of the "i" before "e" except after "c" rule. It is "receiving", not "recieving" you fucking tool.

Go back and check my writings. You will find that I use the Germanic version of "i" before "e" much of the time but you know typos happen when you're in a hurry. By the way, the word is "dragging" and not "draggin". Of course we don't know about your professional or educational qualifications... do you want to fill us in? I would also like a pledge that you will be absolutely flawless in what you write or you will cease and desist for two weeks. Just holding you to a standard that you want to impose on others.

In German (English is a Germanic language) the second vowel is the one sounded out. There are certain combinations that are pronounced differently. An umlaut also changes pronounciations. Ich habe ihre Nummer Arschloch.

You guys are cry babies....you cry about one stupid bitch (Gloria Allred) trying to suppress Rush's speech, then try and suppress Ms Allred's speech with the same tactic.

We all think the other side is nuts! What we hate JD is people like you and FastGunn who think you are above it. Please. That is why I think you are eat up with an extra large portion with the case of dumbass.

I like the fact that Doove said that he would "probably not" like a law that outlaws free speech. Don't you think it should be unequivical rather than "probably"?

Did you know that anal sex and blow jobs are illegal in some states. Do you "probably" think you may not like those laws?

Probably depends on if he is giving or receiving ...

I had always heard that English was a romance language (Latin based). You learn something everyday.

About 70% of English comes from the Germanic.

You do have to differentiate between English and American.
