Yeah and you probably are the type that would call a girl up from San Antonio, have her drive to Austin, then stiff her because she wouldn't settle for a bait and switch routine (ala "how about a quicky").

So yes there's plenty of competition out there but you make it self evident that there's also plenty of douche-bags as well.

If you call a girl and know she is driving a long distance to see you and expect her to settle for a quicky, you really are just polluting the hobby.

That said the obvious lesson for Ezra here is twofold. Be sure you've agreed on the meet terms up front and that unfortunately there will be people like this who will screw you (figuratively). But for every one of those there's 10 nice guys

The deposit suggestion is a good one (for long trips) but I personally wouldn't do this as I know that the same problems apply to providers as it does to hobbyists. But if I was the girl and the hobbyist was new I wouldn't drive that kind of distance without a deposit unless I could really verify that the guy's an ok Joe so to speak.

As for those bashing Zabrina Sarafina, you are jumping to conclusions. Where did she say she would use that info herself? She only stated the obvious. If you know you are going to screw over a provider you should be smart enough to use non-personally identifiable information. She is right, it IS stupid to do otherwise. Might as well rob a house and leave your business card behind.

I'm in two minds about this. I don't like to see anybody messed around like that and it seems, from what we know, that Ezra was messed around. As a hobbyist though, I've lost count of the number of providers who have flaked on me. Their phones suddenly don't work or their car has broken down or a family member has been arrested blah, blah, blah! This is an unreliable industry filled with (and used by) many unreliable people. As nothing is likely to change that then you might as well take your licks and move on.

All I said was that when I want a date I call someone up and in an hour or so we're both together. Furthermore there's no way I or 99% of other guys are gonna send someone a cash deposite in advance and wait for days for her oh soooo special ass that I can match from fifty other girls I can see happily on the same day!!!

Since I was not there, I have no idea what happenned or who is "right". That's why we have this board to provide information. There is plenty of info here regarding Ezra so I think that everyone can intuit from there.

Hate when this happens on either side of the fence. There's just no room for time wasters and game players when were trying to hobby and earn a living. So do you normally work out of Austin or San Antonio?
