Hey,
Google and Microsoft security Essentials are raising red flags of some sort of trojan infection of eccie
Sounds like someone in the ad banner perhaps?

You can go to the Technical Issues forum in the National section for details.
It seems related to JavaScript. Most AV programs seem to catch the problem and prevent it from affecting your computer. It doesn't seems to affect iOS systems (iPad or iPhone) or Linux.

Yes. AVG is picking it up but it is very annoying and is going to cause some to need to have their hard drives cleaned professionally.

Google picks it up on the basis of site testing. 3-4-12 was their most recent. The owners are invited to have google advise them on this stuff. They will do it. Apple systems generally do avoid this stuff because the popularity of Windows while Apple insisted on avoiding the heard actually benefitted them by also not getting on malware programmers radar screens. We'll see about the future.
