Moscow may be freer than Wichita these days. At least they aren't a bunch of sheep blindly following the current administration.

Ah, yes, The "America: Love it or Leave It" strategy. Very intelligent response. I got that in the 60's when I protested the VietNam War. "My Country, Right or Wrong" they would say. Anyone who disagrees with a policy, anyone who fails to "submit, comply, conform," were deemed unfit to be citizens, by the statists, and their majority.
You're bringing back fond memories of scantily clad ladies singing "We Shall Overcome" in the moonlight, while we protested against ignorant warmongers. Thanks, BT, . . . ah, memories.

You know I think best thing to do if you really except gas prices to go up is to invest in some oil futures! That way if Gas price do increase at least you would made some $$$ on investment that you use to pay for the Gas!

That's what I say to my wife/family when they leave the lights on all the time
'so you've got shares in the electricity company?'.
It's just the same - they complain about electricity bills, but somehow can't relate that to leaving lights on.
So those of you who complain about gas prices, STFU, and change your driving habits. Most of the world would love to have your low gas prices.
It sickens me to see all these spoilt cry babies. Grow up.
ps, your prices, as has been said countless times, is not directly a matter of political decisions. In contrast, in most of Europe the gov sets very high taxes on gas. I'm not sure what the reason is, it has always been that way, but if they lowered the tax the congestion would be even worse. Luckily most cities in Europe have a good public transport system. Even though I am in a professional job, like most others I get a train to work. Or rather, two trains and a bus and a walk, each way.
Back to the inane squabbling. Don't y'all love being insulted by a foreigner

My ECCIE Reviews

I know when I was in England all the gas was 95 octane. I saw one place that sold something called "Autogas" which was 87 or 89 I think and it was cheaper but still balls expensive in comparison to the US.

Yes. It's very applicable (see other thread). If you're just going to bitch about everything, act divisive, either shut the fuck up or get out. This isn't the '60's dumb ass. You seem to be the only one with the flower still stick in her hair and wearing paisley. If posting rants on an escort board is your idea of protesting, I'm sure Dillon would love to bitch slap you.

Yes! We MUST eliminate the divisive element! Only then will America live up to her high calling! Expose those who disagree, or think things can be better! Rid our country of them. We must eliminate that faction, so they don't use their speech and decision making to upset or interfere with our well controlled freedom! Out, dissident! And Damn You!!
That's what makes America great. Silencing the opposition. And you tell me, over and over and over again, my friend, that you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction.

If the blue haired girl with tattoos on her neck serving me my coffee a few minutes ago is any indication of that, then yeah sure. If thinking some jack boots are kicking down your door, then No. You're just paranoid and delusional. The irony is you keep saying 'silencing the opposition' yet keep posting link upon link from blogs, etc, with very outspoken ideas. If this country is so fascist as you say, would they have the forum or ability to post such dissidence? Continually? I mean there's some pretty radical stuff out there...I would think they would have rounded them all up already. I'm interested to actually hear your rationale behind that.

You're the one that wanted me out of the country, Sa_fartman. I can only assume that your tactic is to silence the opposition. Quit trying to get out of what you said.
And just watch, the day is coming when those voices you referred to will be silenced by the government. If they aren't, it will be only because people like me sounded the alarm, and turned back the headlong dash in fascism we are now experiencing. But I don't expect that to happen. So just stay tuned.

Wow. Talk about fatalistic man. Like wow. You drop too much acid in the '60s? The 'man' bringing you down? You totally need to talk to someone about those persecution fantasies. We used to have this one mental patient, sounded just like you. Got worse as he got older also. I believe he's now a productive member of society after getting his schizo under control. Just saying...
