You can't keep using that sad little false titbit. obama is many times worse than Bush ever was. Ever. Unfortunately by the time all the worshipers of the great o find out, it'll be way to late to matter. So sad.

any president party affiliation notwithstanding, has to APPROVE then sign a bill before it becomes law ... 43 vetoed 12 dem spending bills. Anything he signed met with his approval.

That said, 43 signed into law 1100 spending bills in 1700 days prior to the dems having the floor

Apparently some Teapublicans never noticed when Bush and Cheney ORDERED Tenet to make the evidence for the Iraq Nuclear Weapons a "Slam Dunk".

Then they went about briefing Congress with info the Brits had already debunked six months prior.

Bush and Cheney massaged the evidence to invade a country that had no WMD's, was not home to a single 9/11 hijacker and had no delivery systems except "SCUDS" that had a maximum but inaccurate range of 150 miles MAX and we also had a "No-Fly Zone" in effect.

Selective memory is why the Teapublicans keep whining "Oh you're just blaming Obama's mistakes on Bush."

Tenet, Cheney, Bush, Rice and Powell ALL lied about the evidence to invade Iraq and got the votes to go to war with tales of mushroom clouds, yellow-cake uranium, centrifuges and hidden WMD'S. Clarke and others ratted the liars out when they resigned or Shrub & Company would have gotten away with the tale about finding WMD'S. Then, when the Brits reiterated the their debunking of the yellow-cake tale, the cat was out of the bag.

And on top of that, Shrub and Darth Vader didn't add one whit of revenue to pay for the wars after declaring the Iraq War would "fund itself" with oil.

What pea-brains would even consider electing more of their ilk?

Oh, that's right - people who get their "News" from Rupert who is facing even more bribery charges at yet another of his "news"papers.

Little Stevie, I see that you just blithely moved on, ignoring the question I posed to you. (In post #43.)

If you are going to claim or insinuate that I was in error, followed by the jab "Nice try, Cap'n", why don't you try to explain why you think that anything I stated was wrong?

Otherwise, I will note for the record that you were just blowing smoke!

Exclamation Mistaken

Sorry, but the real sadness is that you know not of what you speak. Not a clue!

If you think a mere three years is enough to erase the gigantic hole that Bush dug this country into, you are sadly mistaken and parading your ignorance to the world with your foolish notions.

. . . It is going to take decades to return this country to where it was before Bush ran it into the ground.

I hope it doesn't take decades, but I'm afraid it might if Obama attempts to aggressively continue the fiscal kamikaze mission that began years before he took office.

So far, it looks like he has every intention of doing just that.
