It's entertaining. You don't have to read any of them. Ain't this a great country?

COG, I'd like to pour some beers into you and convince you of the error of your ways. You are seriously mistaken in all of your viewpoints and I bet I could convince you of the error of your ways in a face to face confrontation. You'd be voting for Bo after I got done with you.

It's no secret why I'm here. I had to temporarily leave my practice of law for some fairly serious health reasons. During my recuperation, this place has helped me keep my spirits up. I'm not lying when I say I'm only here for fun. But I've been cleared for work, and I am starting a new career soon. It felt so good to not have to go to court everyday and deal with stupid clients, I probably won't go back to practicing law. It really is a stupid way to make a living.
Way back in the ASPD days, I came to the Sandbox to see if we could have an intelligent discussion. I quickly learned that insults and put downs were the norm, so I bowed out. I was wound pretty tight back then. When I started having a lot of free time, I came back, and tried to just have fun here. And it's worked. I'm serious about my beliefs, but I'm not hurt when they are rejected. In fact, the more creative way I am insulted, the louder I laugh. I don't take anything here personally, and I don't mean anything personally. I'm just adding my flavor to the board.
I did make a comment a short time ago that included the phrase "Your mommy is coming to get you." Then BigTex mentioned that his mother had passed away, and I really felt bad about that. I'm not here to make anyone feel bad. So I overstepped my boundary that time.
Anyway, I will probably be here much less often in the near future, much to the satisfaction of some of you. I'm becoming busy again. Besides, I'm out of hobby money, so I need to start working. But I really think this place helped me recover faster than I would have without it, so thanks to all of you!
This place is a lot of fun. And I have no doubt that if we knew each other in person I could be friends with any of you, regardless of your philosophy. This is a great bunch.
So, back to trying to instill a love of freedom in all of you, and dodging the sticks and stones that come my way.

Wound Tight Will Get You Every Time
Humor really does speed up the healing process, thank goodness. Though I have to admit I'm not too sure your brand of humor would be my choice if facing another serious health issue, But, whatever works for you - "party on Garth."

Happy to hear you are on the mend. Don't agree with about half of what you post, but it's been interesting.

Everyone of you know that you have to fold the shiny part of the tinfoil to the outside. Otherwise the government brain scans can penetrate. I always keep the shiny side out.
And as I have always said, I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.
