I have been a member for bout a year. During that time, I have contacted some Providers on this site. After going thru the screening process and setting up a time for them to come to my hotel, they were no shows. No phone calls, no emails, nothing.
Before I get an deluge of emails, I would arrange for the Provider to meet me @ an upscale hotel in Dallas, usually on McKinney Ave or near the AA Center. So, it cant be that those persons were concerned about where we were going to meet.
Why did they not show up?

Part of the problem may be that you have been a member for over a year and only have two posts and both of them were today. You need to work at being established here. P411 membership will probably help if you do not already have it.

Unfortunately NCNS happens way too often with both sides of this Hobby. No respect or consideration for the other person.

ditto---get involved on here and other sites to show you are reputable

there is no excuse for a lady to nc/ns with no explanation....maybe you need to try some more reliable gals/??

Because they're irresponsible businesswomen. Don't give them another thought. Put them on the DO NOT SEE LIST.

I still say those providers could have had the decency to call and not leave him waiting. It works both ways.

I wont do outcalls with new gentlemen especially those who are not well established.

Also... if the outcalls are the high high end hotels some providers, like myself, are use to those.. but for some that are use to a motel 6 type atmosphere, may have been intimidated. Still no reason to ncns but i know that places like Joule, ZaZa, and W can be very intimidating to some when they walk in the door. For those type places Id stick with that type of lady.. high end, classy.. that knows how to blend in with those surroundings.. and usually those type of ladies are the ones that dont ncns.

Lacy, I agree with you but take exception with your few sentences. The ladies I did contact had nothing but glowing recommendations and have very nice photos on this site, with links to their personal websites (ie, high-end, classy). I concur that there is no excuse for NCNS, I have had to change plans but always have the consideration to contact those with whom I have made arrangements.

Participation on the boards is very important, but without writing reviews it kinda cancels out the participation.Try some newbie friendly providers and do some reviews, write more post!

agree with everything that's been said above "PARTICIPATE" aka writing reviews after seeing providers...they maybe nc/ns b/c u maybe too new/something w/ more rep. showed up..I also usually get the "oh something came up" is pretty much the excuse every time to that degree, I just move on or reschedule at another time..but I do agree it sucks when they do that and the excuse doesn't make it any better esp if they don't care...

You went through the trouble of booking, setting aside YOUR valuable time, and so forth, and there is NO excuse, no matter what anyone says, for those girls at least have the courtesy to call you within a reasonable amount of time and say " I can't make it". How hard is that? If they just don't NCNS REGARDLESS of your amount of participation here, what does that say about them? Irresponsible and not good for their future business. It takes TWO SECONDS to call and say " Something came up, I can't make it."

I don't do outcalls on touring, but I do do them in my hometown, and of course I won't see someone without references or referrals, but even so, I would never just let them sit there waiting for me. NCNS is just not a good thing. Sorry this happened to you.

On the other hand it would be nice to take the ladies' advice and do participate more here and maybe do a few reviews to establish your credibility.

You say that you've contacted "some". Which some? It would be a good idea to contribute to this site to let the guys know who these providers are, hence what the acronym ECCIE stands for.
If they were NC/NS, did you at least try to contact them afterwards for an explanation? You need to go that extra effort. If you then don't get any response, then I think you owe it to this community to let us know who they are and some details to support your claim. With this in the open, then when the gal is called to the carpet it will be up to them to either call you a liar, or try to make up for it.
Not sure if your 4 total posts now have anything to do with it either but it still doesn't excuse one from a NC/NS w/o explanation. Heck, I was in Houston recently on my way to a scheduled appointment with someone I've seen more than once and being 15min from the incall on my way in the car, got a text saying "Sorry. something came up". Things do come up and it's understandable. Since you're contacting gals from this site, it wouldn't hurt to participate a little more on this site then as well.
