He wasn't perfect. Several of these threads reveal him breaking meter causing the orchestra conductor and the musicians to adjust constantly.
My Way (written by Paul Anka) will be his signiture song. The song IMHO is a perfect one to play at a funeral, but if there was license to alter the song, at a wake, it should be sung "I did it His way."

Paul Anka was only responsible for rewriting the libretto for a French composition. I have a version in French by one of my favorites Mireille Mathieu.
