Lightbulb Providers and concealed handguns

Question, how many gents wish that their ATF had a gun?
Ever so often, someone asks me if I have one, or if I have any intentions of getting one.
I know of a couple hobbiests who carry, but I don't know of any providers....

Oh yeah, I was doing a little research and found out that the first gun was created in Asia and it was intended to kill humans!
WTF!?!

I'm totally interested in 2012, why not?
It's the last year of the world!

Well I don't mind if a provider has one, I rather not have them tell me though. Ignorance is bliss. I would never take a weapon into a providers place. I make it a point to leave my pocket knive in my car when visiting a provider. Don't want to cause unnecessary awkwardness.

Default guns for hons

I assume my atf has guns.
She is crazier than I if she doesn't.

So what about it's history?
F'n xmas is partially derived from
the festival of Saturnalia.
Which along with gifts and much
merry making; culminated in
human sacrifice.

So your point is?

With a taser most mooks think
they got a chance- it's razor slim
but it's there.

A gun?
They got no chance.

I don't care if a provider has a gun as long as she is trained on how to use it. However, screening is a far better self defense tool than a gun. Newby friendly providers are the ones I see at most risk and they should find a way to back each other up when meeting a client, that does not have references, for the first time.

Doesn't bother me at all, as long as they're trained in its use.. If I knew, I'd probably be asking what they're carrying, caliber, etc.. Yep, I'm a gun nut and proud of it - but I don't carry in an incall or anything like that.

I agree you should know how to use one first. Would be nice to bust a few rounds at the gun range.

Hey There BB - Not a bad idea for an ATF to own a hand gun for protection but they need to get some training. And select a gun that does not have a lot of kick to it, or one shot and it will knock your ass on the floor or worse hit you in the mouth. As a suggestion a 22 - 25 caliber. I think that some might be able to handle a 9mm but no larger. As an expert marksman I have a 40 Cal automatic and it has plenty of knock down power with some kick but I am accurate to about 100ft.

I would have to say Glock 22 9mm. Or something equal to that size. Most providers I know are pretty strong. They can handle the kick. But never a 22. You will just pissed your assailant off. I think a Tayser is the best way to go if you do go that route. Training is a must.

A handgun is too easy to take away from a lady, with men having greater strength. Also, you would need a license to carry concealed. Id just prefer to keep a shotgun right out there in the open for everyone to see. We could even unload it and play a kinky game of cops and robbers.
