There is some truth behind that. The same comes when you work in a studio (as i used to do ) and you make more money or you look "better" than others (that does not mean in a derogatory way...) then some women can`t help but make drama behind scenes. It is interesting also, that most likely IMHO the women that don`t really look so good, or are not as smart as they would like to be, have categories where they judge other women at exactly that levels. One woman was so obsessed with looks, she could not even have a single photo of herself where she wasn`t posing. Or some put looks in categories and .... one time i told a woman given her own looks she would most likely end up as a 5 in her own category. And the best are the ones , who think their sexual abilities are so superiour to others. I wonder where some women have these ideas from.....
It would never come to my mind to influence other women`s business or to steal other people`s thoughts and pretend they are mine (like it had it happen...).So, well, as long as you avoid the idiots out there you can have friendships with women. But that is only if you don^t see them as competition. Because, truth is, there is no competition. Everyone is a star at what he/she does. Some times you have to choose different enviroments for work.
I have friends in the provider world, and i mean "real" friends, where i also know profoundly what is going on behind the scenes. I don`t count some pretentious hogwash some providers like to exchange to impress each other ;-) a friendship. Many don`t even seem to know each other well enough to look behind the facades. And i also have friends in regular life, of course. Some of them go back a long time.
I have to admit that i am very strict though, once my trust is broken or i encounter attitudes in people i don`t like , and who don`t change even when you confront them with their bullshit. Or what i truly hate, are liars. Even when it`s so obvious they lie, and you see it, they still go on denying they lied. That is an absolute no-go for me.
That is - for one time - where i like alternative lifestyle, and without wanting to sound snobbish, it was one of the reasons why i chose it. Because i encountered these people to be much more mature when it comes to forming friendships. There is no need to pull off a "show" like it is so much happening in the "ordinary" or "civvie" world.
