I think it is your body and your choice. However, there are consequences for every choice we make. In other parts of the country ink everywhere is not as socially accepted.....if you care about that, otherwise screw them.
The big thing for me is careers. I know a lot of people who will not hire a person with visible ink.
Most white collar jobs have specific rules about dress and presentation. I have a friend who was studying ballet, she would have to cover her sleeve with makeup when she performed.
That being said there are a number of things companies will check for in an interview. I know an HR manager that will offer a cigarette to a potential employee while taking them to lunch. If they accept, they don't get the job.
I think it is a personal choice, but it may have consequences. Some tatts are very classy and beautiful and others....I have to wonder how much the owner imbibed before getting that tatt.
The Jimmy Carter face is priceless, lol. Was it the playboy interview when he said "I have lusted in my heart" and shortly thereafter went to Poland and told them he lusts for Poland, in a translation error?
