It is scary OldGuy. The lack of actual real journalism helping people understand doesn't help either.

Its taken decades and decades of social deconstruction to create a population so amazingly apathetic and stupid that this is a non-event.

It makes me wonder what percentage of the population knows what "due process" is, and why it's important.

Our system fails miserably at teaching history (among other things), and this is solid evidence backing up the old adage about repeating histories mistakes to those who refuse to learn it.

I was on the phone with my representatives offices last week.

But those of us that care are incredibly small, which is also his point.

That begs the question why they wrote a law so specific giving them the Unconstitutional authority then, yes?

Then he should veto it. We’ll see if he does. My guess is he won’t, but I’d like to be wrong.

I’m depending on the legal eagles to have read and interpreted the bill correctly. So if they are right, the Patriot Act was the first step and this bill is the second step towards an American Nacht und Nebel Decree. Sad and scary.

He accurately describes NDAA as our descent into tyranny. There is no bigger issue in this campaign. I wonder why the media is so quiet? Maybe because media, business and government are all on the same side, and it's not the side we are on.
