Default An apology is due..

To those gents that had made plans to see me today...and you
weren't able to reach me..

My landlord's had a huge electrical meltdown last night
and it triggered a power outage in my location..I wasn't able to make my appointments or except calls today due to my power being out and me not being able to charge my cell..

I do hope I didn't screw up anyone's plans today and I do apologize if
I did...

I want to thank you for your understanding in this matter...it's hard to work around 12 firemen, no power and smokey hallways...

once again...I apologize...nita..

I am sorry to hear about issues. The important thing is that there were no injuries.
Check with your insurance OR you landlords insurance company about any smoke damage to your clothes, linens, furniture, draperies, etc. You may want to contact a private adjuster to come in and help you determine if any damages to your possessions and get you everything you are entitled to.
I have been in the drycleaning business for over 35 years and have experience in processing smoke, soot, flood damaged possessions.

Good luck.

As I said , many drycleaners have special chemicals available that can take out odors in both dryclean garments AND any washable laundered articles you may have--bedding, towels, jeans, underwear, etc. Machine washing over and over will not always work.

Fire restoration companies can often remove odor/film from smoke and soot damage. That is why you may want to check with your or your landlords homeowners insurance agents.

Nita, glad to hear you are OKAY!!

Nearing Christmas is a great time for us all to double check extension cords and such..

Perhaps this happened so you would post and somebody from eccie will find a bad cord.

Maybe you saved a life through your sweet apology!!

You are a very thoughtful and sweet person. Again, glad is all well on the home front!
