I have no idea if or at what point the mentions of improper topics could potentially become problematic for anyone here, including the board owners. But if there does exist a point where problems can arise, then i think it only makes sense to keep the oversight objective, removing any and all mentions of those topics, rather than leave any mentions to the subjective interpretation of individual mods.

So mods is it okay to say any of the statements made by many of us to insinuate and protect others? I personally have run into this issue with doing duos and being exposed to things I do not want exposure to

Have a few drinks, smoke a cigarette on the terrace . . .legal is cool, illegal is not. There is already a full plate going on!!

jokacz --- "You can't save someone that doesn't want to save themselves."

Thank you so much for this comment. Ultimately, you're right: there is no gray area. I think I've been foolish to believe that my good intentions would lead to something positive. Time to pull out.

I really appreciate everyone's helpful thoughts.

If I may use a quote from another thread.

DT is probably right - discussion won't change anything.... for now. But... it might not be a waste of time. If it is continually brought up and there is good debate, it may eventually be considered... and even changed. Ya' never know.

Are STD's considered "Unmentionable Topics"? What if a provider actually admits to having (or did have) one? Or we know it by seeing it? I know this is a grey area, but is there a "spent a lot of time in the bathroom" equivalent code for different STD's? I'm sure there hase been oodles of discussion about this already, but since this is a regional forum, it makes it more relevant. How does everyone deal with the cognitive dissonance of being a hobbyist?

STD's become forbidden on the forum when it is assumed that someone may have them, medical speculation is not allowed. A discussion about STD's would be ok as long as it remain about STD's. Another thread should be started.

What if it is a proven fact and not just assumed?

What if it is not just merely speculating but is a proven fact. See what I mean.
