I live in hattiesburg and I was just wondering, does anybody know why things are slow? I've never posted here before and usually post on other sites sometimes and it just seems dead, is it just me? I know the holidays are almost here but things have never been this bad before

It's been slow for me in Biloxi too, but I always get to select my bookings when I go to Hburg.. Maybe you just need a new crowd? I didn't believe it until I started moving around but guys like fresh meat!!

Look over the different places that seasoned providers go..meaning that have been touring for years and look at their touring schedule in the showcases they have posted.
They know the best places.

Not sure where you're advertising, but you can expand your reach by becoming a Verified Provider here and advertising here. To become a VP, we need two of the following:

A review on a legit hobby board (here, TER, TBD, etc)

A website (P411 works)

A well known ECCIE member (male or female) to vouch for you.

I don't think you've posted an introduction in the Welcome and Intro thread, but as a new member, you can post an ad there - once.

As for traveling, Anita gives you good advice. There is a lot to learn by seeing where the established ladies go. Traveling doesn't have to be a great distance, you could come to the Coast or go to Jackson to try it. Many guys do like to see new ladies, so that does give an advantage to a visitor.

So, think about becoming a VP here, and let me or vicinms know how we can help you.

Not only is touring a good idea, but so is advertising in a number of places. You might want to look at sites like P411 or Date-Check. Not only are they good sites for verifications but a number of traveling guys use them. Don't limit yourself to one site to place ads on.

When I was starting out, I looked at showcases of women from whom I just read a funny/well-thought out comment or a well-reviewed one. In each case, I then PM'd her. Didn't date all of them (dough was even lower than presently), but I kept them on a short list then took a plunge (insert DATY pun here). I can't be the only guy who went this route.
