Without them, YOU'd be exactly like one of those hungry kids that you saw in Indonesia, India, the Philippines and Africa.

Perhaps you need to recall how the American Revolution affected France, and then consider the impact of the French Revolution on subsequent European - and world - history.

Most of the educated free-world, but since you insist on being a wrongly-opinionated SOB, it obvious why it doesn’t matter to you.

What matters to me is the present and the future.
And to keep myself educated, what I have to do every weekend is study the world's currency charts, the fundamental analysis of the world economy as a whole and some countries in particular. The money flow, the economical and political influence on that money flow. The possibilities of Government and sometimes even corporate or private interventions. Technical, fundamental and sentimental analysis of everything related, and correlation / inverted correlation between everything that I come across. And all that just to be prepared for next weeks challenges.
As far as history goes, although I think it is interesting, I really don't have the time to study it in depth.

Hence, you're admitting your pompous statement:

stemmed from your lack of education - ignorance - on the matter.

Could be, I don't know. Why? Is it important? Is it more important than how the Greek Government will act next week? It shouldn't because what the Greek Government does in the next few weeks will directly influence your retirement savings.
So just go ahead and keep your head buried in the sand while I protect my future.

You're the one that made the pompous statement . . . why was it important for you to do that? You're the one who suggested that Dutchmen were/are somehow morally superior to American colonist of the same period . . . why was it important for you to do that?

Actually it doesn't, but it'll suffice in lieu of your addressing these issues:
1) You're the one that made the pompous statement about the Founding Fathers. Why was it important for you to do that?
2) Plus, you suggested that Dutchmen were/are somehow morally superior to Americans because of events that occurred over 200 years ago, despite historical facts showing the Dutch were just as culpable as any English settlers. Why was it important for you to do that?

Inferentially meaning you haven’t published yet.

You do realize that one can earn a living writing articles for historical journals and magazines don’t you? BTW, there is a market for historical fiction as well.

I thought this hooker board was supposed to warrant competitiveness amongst the hookers... Now we've got men trying to size each other up. What do you guys really expect to garner? Respect? Wrong forum... Just sayin'.
