Bills / Lions, yes.

Redskins, not so much. Tomorrow will tell the tale.

The Raiders beat the Jets, go figure. Steelers barely won against a team that looks pretty bad, that being the Colts. The Texans played hard but lost to the Saints, kind of hard to watch such a great effort go for nothing. The Titans played well and won, of course Denver is rebuilding so not a good test for Tennessee. The Giants won, Atlanta lost, dont understand that one.

And tonight its the Cowboys and Redskins. So will you be singing Hail to the Redskins, or Turn out the Lights? Should be a great game, Tony Romo is showing true grit by playing with a very bad injury. So its MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!!!! I sure miss John Madden, the game is not the same without Big John and his sound affects.

Its Time for the NFL again. What a weekend of college football. Texas A&M is showing that it does not belong in the top 25, they blew two big leads two weeks in a row. Texas is on the move, the Texas/OU game should be a good one this year. But like I said its time for the NFL, will your favorite team win this weekend or loose.

I think some of the key matchups this weekend are:

1. Of course Dallas and Detroit, will the Boys stay on a roll, or will the mighty yes mighty Detroit Lions roar?

2. The Pittsburg Steelers take on the Houston Texans, looks like the Steel Curtain will be a pile of rust by the end of the game. This may not be the old Love Ya Blue days in Houston, but the city is ready to pound the Steelers and I have to say, I think Houston is a playoff team this year.

3. New England can score a lot of points, but they are showing their age and making a few mistakes. The Raiders have sold out the stadium and after beating the Jets, the Black and Gold looks like the Raiders of old.

4. And finally the Jets face Baltimore and need this game, this should be one of the most hard hitting games this year, and I have no clue who will win this one, I just say the Jets, because The Ravens are an up and down team this year.

Good luck to your favorite team this weekend.

When did the Raiders turn into to Black and Gold?

Same old Raiders, mistakes. Wish I could have watched the game to see how they looked but the Bolts won and Rivers had no INT. Looks good on paper.

Well we enjoyed Papa John's instead of Pizza Pizza at our party Sunday. Was fun watching the Cowboys fans squirm when the Lions came back on them.

Turn out the lights, the parties over?

Its the weekend, some pretty good games for the NFL this weekend. But since we are in Dallas, its hard to not think about Texas/OU Weekend. I can remember the night before Texas/OU in downtown and along Greenville Avenue, the fights between the fans of both teams, things have mellowed a bit, the police are out in force to monitor the fans now so things are not the same.

Some of the better matchups for the NFL this weekend:

1. Oakland at Houston, back in the old AFL days this was always a tough game, give the edge to Houston this weekend.

2. Jets at New England. The Jets have done a lot of trash talking this year and they need this game, but I think the Patriots will more than handle the Jets. Which just goes to show, dont let your mouth overload your ass. Pats win this one easily.

3. Titans at the Steelers, give this one to Tennessee, they have the best defense in the NFL right now and Big Ben will get pounded often.

4. Chcago at Detroit, do you know that the Lions have a really long winning streak going from last year to now. The Lions roar and beat the bears.

Good luck to your favorite team and at least Tony Romo cant make any mistakes, and the Boys dont have to suffer through a loss this Sunday.
