They might be able to pull this one off. They have a much better coached Redskins team to deal with the following week then luckily they get a week off before they have to go face (IMHO) the best team in the NFL and on their turf. Regardless I see that as another "Rented Mule" (LMAO) that they have to go face. Romo might be finally coming around but I don't think the Dallas defense can do much towards stopping the master (Tom Brady).

There has always been one critical factor for both these teams. If either of theses QBs go down their team is toast.
As for the Lions, they beat KC like a rented mule. Admittedly KC is at the lower end of the NFL quality spectrum (then again SF is not a top flight team either), but it was still impressive. We'll see what happens on Oct.2. It could be interesting. Even if the Cowboys prevail at home that day, I believe the Lions will finish ahead of them. Just look at the schedules. And, oh yeah, never bet against a boy named Suh

No need to place any bets here unless somebody has some extra money.Let's just go to the Palace and hang out with Smith.

Capitan, the Cowboys play the Redskins first, next Monday night. Then they face the Lions the following week before their bye week.
And RJ, you could be on to something about the Lions. They are off to a fast start. But I still want to see how they do against some better competition first. If they beat the Vikings next week and beat the Cowboys the following week in Dallas, then I will start to take them seriously. And yeah, be a little worried about our friendly bet. LOL.

OK I had it backwards. They might have a chance against the Skins and the Lions if Garrett will be a little creative. He has always been one to stick with his game plan whether it worked or not. They could win both of these and be 3-1 however I doubt it. 2-2 is a better forecast but we will give them the benefit of the doubt. The trip to Foxboro on the other hand, well that would be a good day to use your "Get out of jail free" card.

That's always a good plan, no matter which team you like.

Hey I'm up for it. I haven't officially announced it yet but now is as good of a time as any. I am moving to the Dominican Republic very soon. If I am going to have to work outside of the country (no drilling permits) it will be about 30K for year I will have to pay in income tax to live here. 30 K will buy a gang of Dominican poontang. Because of that I would rather use my money to give to whatever whores I want to instead of Obama. The reason I am choosing the DR is the flights are the most convenient from there plus there are some of the most beautiful women you have ever seen. Their local beer "Presidente" is excellent and there are daily flights to Miami if I have a death in the family or for some reason I need to return to the USA for any unforeseen reason.
Anyway I will be home on just a few days in September/October then back again in December for a few days then it will be Ghana and the DR for me only. Nonetheless during these few days I have available we definitely need to have an unofficial meeting at one of the preferred establishments. I like the Cabaret because the girls are a little more sleazy and as you guys know chicks with tattoos are my passion but nonetheless we need to plan a small get together before I say adios to the country for a year. I know some of the guys here on the board but Smith I need to hang with you before I go. I will be home September 24, 25, October 13, 14, 15, 16, 17th but on the 14th I have the last show with my band. So one of these dates we need to have a small get together.

I'm definitely up for it. I can tell you out of all those days I can only do Oct 13-14. I am usually more available but may be around the afternoon of the 24th too.

Those Cardiac Cowboys
Well, it wasn't pretty but they got the job done. After that 4th quarter disaster against the Jets, Tony Romo and the Cowboys have battled thru injuries and shown a lot of heart the last 2 games. They will have their hands full next week against the upstart Lions. This game could go down to the wire too. I don't know how much more me and my old ticker can handle. LOL.

I think the game against the Lions will tell us a lot about both teams , and give us a clue as to much pussy rj will be buying in 2012, or have bought for him.

It will tell us who wins the game but there is a long season ahead. I can tell you when I made the wagers I had the Lions losing in Dallas but winding up with the better record over the season.
I guess we'll see.

I guess the 13th looks like the day, that's a Thursday but I have the final gig with my band on the 14th. It can be my pre-divorce party which will be official on the 17th.

That's a good reason to throw a party.
