Agree that looking for friends here is a bad choice. But the nature of the business, especially for longer dates with time to lie next to a naked lady and talk sometimes do lead to friendships upon repeat visits. I have found it odd/surprising to see some here, post the comment (more than once), that "Xxx (another board member) is my Best Friend"!!*

I'm sure it's possible... but I have to wonder how many real trials and tribulations have they actually shared together?

I would imagine (hope) they are talking about someone they have been seeing for years and on a more exclusive basis. I could easily say Naomi and SNL are very close friends, but I don't see them often enough to know what they are like under pressure lol. The reverse is also true. Ask my parents how hard it is to be with me for a week ha ha.

Though, I can say I am friends with the guys I see most often and would be there if they needed me in a way that had nothing to do with this, many women are not here for that. London was the very first person that reached out to me when I first joined eccie. Sure some people thinks she's a biatch but she's a good hearted person and always willing to help anyone in need. She is my friend on and offline and I'm very glad I met her. Yes she doesn't give herself enough credit. When I need someone to talk to/laugh with/complain to, I call her and life is good again. She's like family to me.

Ok that's enough.

I will repeat what others have said. This is not the place to find true friends, try facebook lol. Let it happen. Just remember that true friendship is not something you can force and you'll be ok.

Certainly can tell from a lot of you that have had the opertunity to meet each other or just thru time have just gotten to know ones personality even here that people care. People can have friends in many ways. I think you can certainly enjoy some here as well. I think even an acquaintance can be a friend or someone you trust as many do here, it can be someone you have feelings of affection or just personal regard for. Sometimes friendship is just companionship that may have been based on the kind of experiences they have had or with to have in the future.

This is very true. I don't see any reason that friends can not be had from this site. We are humans with many of the same needs.
