Ever had something bad come out in scene?

I got a call from a good friend last night (this early am). While in a training session, he and his sub tapped into real life issues that his sub thought had been dealt with.

I have known this guy for 5+ years and he is pretty thorough on vetting his trainables. I've known a few people in the RL scene who were in it due to issues and observed a catharsis scene, but I have never been in a scene where literally the molehill became a mountain.

Once I get the parameters, I do dig around in a psyche looking for these minefields. I've not come across any in p4p. Yet. I have in RL, but nothing huge.

Does this make sense? I have had no sleep so it probably doesn't.

I think I understand.... I was about to start a session with a potential playtoy. After hooking up one restraint on her wrist, she freaked out.... I did not continue, of course, but sat down to discuss. Found out some RL Early Childhood things that even though we had discussed here interests and I poked around to make sure she was ok with that was going to happen, something triggered a memory....

We discerned that this kind of play was not for her, at least at the time and parted ways.

Sometines you really don't know what is going to trigger a suppressed memory, an unknown terror or a subconscious landmine....

I hope that they were able to resolve and move along... Or that they deal with it in the manner required.
