As far as the term "hooker", I'm just not comfortable with it personally. I had always thought of it as the lowest level of sex-worker, on the level of street walkers. Cheap and paltry. I found the term insulting to the lovely women here and to the men that see them. I had always thought that I had more "class" than to see a "hooker."
I guess I was wrong. I am enlightened. Thanks to Lynn and Anita for sharing their feelings.
For what it's worth, it certainly is a patriotic term. During the Civil War, Gen. Hooker had a pack of women travel with his troops to "entertain" them. Yay the North!

apparently..my opinion on the matter of the word hooker ..regardless of how its coming out of a mans mouth..isn't high on the list of the popular folk here...
