I had a lady say that she put me on her DNS lists once. Not sure how she would figure out who I was without having any info on me. I laughed right after I saw her. She claimed she screened. Obviously not well enough.

Well just posting can do that to ya. Posting is screening. And you may not believe it. But, you are both on each others DNS list now. And both may have been put a I got to see list. Along with other DNS lists. Yup it works both ways no matter how you look at it.

I know that as a fact from Better days of the bar game. And being the driver for a few from there when it was better. If a gal you like ever gives you a shot to work for her. And so you get to see things from there side of the coin somewhat. It can be a eye opener. Some of the BS from asshat guys and guys scammers trying to scam them is unreal. For every mistake I ever made in this hobby dealing with providers. There a 10 or more guys trying that as a scam. Brings up the problem was it a mistake or was that guy a ass( mmm add, or dumber than a box or Rocks).

some guys/gals put on a nice person sweetheart of a guy/gal front. Some really are. Others its a fake show. And it happens the other way around also.

Posting is screening ONLY if the lady knows your handle. I did an experiment one time. I am not going to name the provider, but she always claims she screens. I setup an appointment with her using all completely fake information and she still saw me. So much for screening.

I know most of the ladies don't want to hear this, but I would bet that a lot of them "think" their screening is thorough, but in actuality it is not.

I hate to say this Buuuuuut. It would have it in a review in ROS. OR Not in the review and use as a inside joke for just two. How she acted after I fess-up before doing the review. Would be up to the provider.(got past screening without my handle)LOL

I have to throw my two cents worth, because yes, Brooke is "talking down", "scolding", her "customers or potential customers". Being in a business that deals with difficult customers, employees, and other business contacts is part of doing "BUSINESS"! Part of good "customer service" is putting up with some of the BS that dealing with people who make mistakes or are just a PITA. But you NEVER...NEVER...scold out your customers. You just don't do business with them. And a customer who doesn't like the business doesn't deal with that business anymore. You forget Brooke (sweetie) that "hobbyists" are not your boyfriends, friends, buddies, confidants, or personally involved with you......they are your "CUSTOMERS" and you are a BUSINESS! I got one of your "nasty" reply emails, and you went from my "bucket list" to my DNS UNTIL HELL FREEZES OVER list because of your very poor customer service skills. If I want a bad attitude I can get that at home (and it's FREE) so don't think that if you take the gloves off in this type of forum that you won't get bitch slapped! Nothing personal dear.......just Business.

One of Brooke's greatest qualities is also one of her detriments: Youth. She's young, has a lot to learn, but is in that point in her life where she feels confident that she already knows everything she needs to know. A half dozen years from now, she may find herself where many of us went: realizing that we know far less than we ever thought we knew. These days, I'm not sure, but I don't think I know much of anything.

In her heart, Brooke is a good person, a wonderful person even, but she has a long way to go in her journey in life. We all did, once. In some respects, I envy her that; in other respects, I wouldn't want to go through all that again for anything.

If I had a nickel for every mistake I ever made, the services provided here wouldn't cost me anything.

Personally, I hope she returns. Her youthful viewpoint on things can be refreshing. I actually thought it was cute being lectured by her in this thread, when I've been doing this for about as long as she's been alive. C'mon, there's great humor to see in that, more than anything else.

Chill out already. Keep in mind, this business is like no other business. For starters, the "business" is often times run by little more than a young lady trying to simply get by in life, not MBA's. Factor in the stress level that this sort of working life can create for someone....which, in part, constitutes dealing with people like GP who gets his rocks off by mocking you out for simply having made an effort to get out of the business, and an occasional vent now and then is hardly surprising.

Beyond that, i would just echo Jon Colden's post.

I've never seen Brooke, and likely never would. But it seems to me the vast majority of her reviews were pretty positive. But nevermind that, she rubbed a few people's feathers the wrong way so let's mock, demean, and insult her....when all she's trying to do is earn a living. Then next week we can post about the lack of quality providers in the area.

See comments by Lynn and Anita re hookers. One needs a realistic perception of oneself and ones place in this business. This is not God's work we are doing here.

Without people like doove in this world, what would everyone do? I hear that there are a few homeless people under the bridge that need some help also.
