Need some info on west texas

Thinking about moving out of Arizona to west texas. Any suggestions on what areas are best to live in. Kids are grown, probably will have my son(25) yes ladies he is available and you can have him as a boy toy or whatever LOL. no seriously any info would be appreciated.

i lived in west texas for a year.. amarillo area has really nice sub urbs.. kinda cold sometime... but i enjoyed it alot!!!! hope i helped..

Lived in Abilene, its a town about with about 125000. Good people, great food, windy, easy trouble for a 25 year old.

I guess it would depend on WHY you are wanting to move to West Texas as to which area might be best for you. I lived and worked in West Texas for the past 7 years from El Paso to Lubbock and all of the rest (except Abilene).

Lubbock is the second biggest city out there. You have Big 12 sports and a pretty conservative town.

El Paso is the largest town in West Texas. Had a place there for 18 months. Hobby options were better here than anywhere else. GREAT mexican food.

Uh, I don't think I'd want to live anywhere where a group like this is allowed to prowl the street. A "Christian" militia called Raven Amarillo has taken it upon themselves to force feed their idea of what God wants on anything that happens to resemble "adult entertainment". The even call themselves the party of God.
