Concealed Carry Permits and Appointments with an Escort
With all I have read in the past few months, about guys and ladies being threatened, robbed etc. I have a question.
Many people who partake in this hobby of ours, have a CCP and carry a weapon. What is the proper protocol, in relation to a hobby appointment. Do you
1. Carry your weapon to the appointment
2. Leave it in your vehicle
3. Leave your weapon at your home or office
In both prior cases, you would be without access to it, if it was needed.
And finally, how would you as a provider / client feel about bringing a licensed weapon to the appointment.
I realize this may be a touchy subject, so if you are uncomfortable responding on an open forum, please PM me.

I've never seen a provider that has been in a less than desirable location, and I normally don't carry except when I know the area I'm going too, for whatever reason, is not a good one. That's not to say there is a safer place than another, but as long as I feel OK with location, I see no reason to carry.
If I did carry to a session, I would take it in with me instead of leaving it in the car for safety reasons of being stolen.

Unlike you HD...I have seen a provider or two in what I would think of as less desirable locations..and I have my *** in my pocket when I knock on the door. Nothing has every happen...but Im always a little on edge when I see a new provider. You just can never be sure whats on the other side of that hotel door..
I do have a story...Just this past month I met with a new girl. As soon as we said our hellos I excused myself to the restroom..While I was in there I heard a mans voice and thought o-shit here we go. With a little something under a wash rag in my hand I eased out the door only to find her messing with the TV saying she cant get it to turn off and had hit the volume way up...lol It still took a little time to ease back down before I really felt OK...

Concealed means concealed.
Kit bag with one side for the protection for the cock and the other side for protection for your life.
Actually, both are protection for your life.
Many small framed handguns to choose from.

I agree that there shouldn't be any reason to refrain from carrying if you are in an unknown area or less than desirable one. The provider wouldn't ever have to know that it existed unless there was just cause. It's not like your carrying in a tactical sniper rifle and trying to pass it off as a (sex)toy in disguise...

Personally, my choice is a Kimber Super Match ll 45. But it is not very concealable, except in a shoulder rig.

The whole idea of "concealed" is just that. No one knows.

ALWAYS
and that sums it up. Concealad and with me at all times!!
Only had one lady express any concern. that was resolved, in my favor. if it had not been then i would have left.
A weapon is no good unless it is readily available. I have had the situation come up where i have needed it ob three occassions. All worked out OK.

Never leave home with out my Springfield on my hip. I always cover it with my shirt when I get undressed so it will be handy. Remember it is better to be judged by 12 then to be carried by 6.

The idea of carrying it in a bag, as LL suggests, makes the best sense to me -- within arm's reach but not readily visible or detectable during the "upfront" activities.
If you've communicated to the lady that you have a CHL, will be bringing it with you, and she agrees to the appointment then that's a different story. If the provider doesn't know about the CHL, my concern is the situation where the provider sees it when it is covered by the shirt, pulls out her own weapon, and lets the lead fly. Try explaining the aftermath of that one to the SO, LE, etc.

I've kept mine in the car, but may rethink that. It's not too concealable. One of my ATF keeps a pink 9mm with her. I think it's a great idea for the ladies..

I'm not certain on this but you might want to check the legal side of this. If memory serves me right if you ever get busted in a sting and are carrying I remember a thread stating that the level of the offense is greater.

Sounds very possible to me, since you are commiting a crime, prostitution, though the weapon is not being used for it, it is still on your person.

I wonder if your having a legal right to carry a weapon, would even matter in the above situation,
