You start to see from this list just how "Republican" Obama actually is. The other thing that starts to emerge is just how far to the right today's Republicans have become. Essentially one dictator away from fascism.

I would in fact challenge you to come up with one single piece of "liberal" or "democratic" legislation Obama's personally proposed and managed to push through Congress in the last 2.5 years. Let's see what you can come up with.

And before you even say it, if you do use the healthcare plan as an example, you'd better be prepared to explain what's so liberal or democratic about a plan that Romney signed which was nearly identical to law in Massachussetts in 2006.

Wrong again, Dickhead. That's your imagination and has nothing to do with me. I've stated many times my issues with this President, and at the same time I have no problem defending him if the facts support it.

I only deal in facts.

You beat me to the edit.. OK then, you tell us what's so liberal or democratic about healthcare regulation, keeping in mind Romney signed an identical piece of legislation in Massachusetts just 5 years ago. I will even concede and state for the record that yes, the healthcare plan is certainly not a conservative piece of legislation. I am basing that on nothing more than how it's being paid for.

What else you got?

Extended Bush tax cuts; check!Should have done that anyway. Needs to simplify the tax code.
Extended Patriot Act; check!Conservatives are not for invasion of privacy did not like when Bush did it.
Released the second half of TARP funds; check! Conservatives not for that either.
Automaker bailout; check! Should have let them file Backruptcy and cash for clunkers not a conservative thing either.
Has done little to nothing to change bank regualtion since the meltdown; I blame all of government for the meltdown should not have let them get to big to fail. Never should have grown to world bank. check!
Troops are still in Iraq & Afghanistan; check! Time to get out just not as losers.
Completely dropped the ball on the public option and compromised his way out of it before even starting negotations; check! Forced Health care is not right.
Appointed Jeff Immelt to the Economic Recovery Advisory Board; check! Obama is probably trying to make a deal with China since they now own our ass. He wants to continue increasing government spending.

Not really.

Wyldeman, I think you need to get back in touch with your party again. Either that, or consider changing teams.

Ha! You're fucking kidding me right? The GOP has built an entire platform on corporate welfare. You tell me which of these policies are not GOP supported?

and here's a brief reminder of some other bailouts that took place over the last 40 years or so..

Your GOP led government disagreed with you in 2008 and in 1980.

For someone claiming to be a conservative, you seem to know very little about conservative policy.

Sharpie I said CONSERVATIVES not REPUBLICANS.......

Most conservatives do not want an invasion of privacy. I understand the purpose of the patriot act at that time, but lets face it the Dems and the GOP both wanted it. It gives them more control..As a conservative I am not for bailouts at all.

So you do acknowledge the difference? In my humble view, the GOP has not been a fiscally conservative party for over half a century now.

I believe Regan was somewhat conservative, but he did grow government as well.

Government is not very efficient at anything. I am not a fan of any of them. I am not really sure if there is even a lesser of two evils anymore.

Did you bother to read this sentence before you pressed submit?

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you meant social conservative.

OK. To recap: Real liberals don't back Obama. Real conservatives don't back the Republican party.

Am I reading this moose drool correctly?

The "reality" is that this entire administration, top to bottom, as well as the whole democrat party are basically anti-American.

On that we can agree.

If either you or F-Sharp had bothered to actually read and comprehend the positions of several conservatives here, you would have picked up on that fact long ago.

I'm not a fan of Rick Perry becoming our next President, I don't agree with many of his positions. However when guys like you start acting like he's the next coming of the Anti-Christ, many of us feel obliged to point out the shortcomings of the current idiot that's holding our nation's highest office.
When you go around bashing ANYONE that's conservative or Republican without even hearing or comprehending where they stand on the issues, well, then don't be surprised when it turns into a conservative vs liberal debate rather than a debate on the ISSUES which is what we all should be focusing on.
Both parties have completely lost their way and thinking that the American people have ANY meaningful representation in Washington, is a joke.
Therefor there needs to be fundamental change to our political system.
