I never said Romo was a great quarterback. He still has a long way to go to even be considered anywhere near great. But with an improved offensive line play and an improved defense, Romo has a chance to lead Dallas deep into the playoffs. I am not sure the Cowboys have all the needed supporting players on the team for this to happen this year. But with another year or 2 of good draft picks and free agent pickups, Dallas with Romo at quarterback could make a serious run at another Super Bowl.

Hey I totally agree just the Hanna Montana was too much fun to dismiss. I remember very well the game where Parcells sat Bledsoe and played Romo against the Giants where they got their asses kicked. The next game Romo took the Cowboys against an undefeated Indianapolis Colts team and screwed up their perfect record. Romo's problem was he got his great opportunity with a team that is owned by Jerry Jones. I love the Cowboys but despise the owner so bad it makes me hard to have any interest in their success any more.
I have watched them since I was a kid. I watched the game against the Redskins where 3rd string QB Clint Longley threw a bomb and took them to victory. I was a kid but remember it well. Watched it on a rented Black and White TV. Remember the JJ purchase and dismissal of Tom Landry. Watched Jimmy turn them into what should have been the greatest NFL team ever until Jerry's head got too big and screwed it up. Jimmy Johnson was the greatest coach that team ever had. In 5 years they went from 1-15 to back to back Super Bowl victories and it would have been 4 in a row.
Had Jerry had enough sense to sit his ass down Dallas would have a collection of Lombardi trophies that no other team would ever be able to touch. Some of the greatest players ever. The best Defensive tackle to ever play the game, Randy White. I remember hearing on the news that he was drafted by the Cowboys, he played at the University of Maryland (ACC). There is some trivia that only die Cowboy fans will know and I didn't have to look that up on the internet.
Now the bottom line is....."The owner is an ASSHOLE."
