I have met so many people, at eccie, other sites, and in person, who search for new venues to explore for information on the adult industry.
I list at least a link back to my website just about everywhere I can find. I find the more I advertise with links back to my dot com, the better reputation I maintain, and the more accessible and visible I am for the seekers of adult entertainment.
I receive links from my gf in Chicago and I send links to my gf in Chicago. Advertising is important to me.
I obviously have to pay for my dot com. I list at as many free sites as possible, and pay for advertising at times. It depends on which one I choose out of the hat. I cannot afford to pay for all of them simultaneously.
I have in the past six months paid at
Sophie's outcall

CityVibe

and Escort Introductions

Sophie's has always been very good to me. (thank you!!) She allows for free listings and paid listings. I pay for advertising there to show my appreciation when I am able to. She is, in fact, a role model of mine. :-)
Cityvibe is hit and miss for me, but I have gained clientele over the years from there.
Unfortunately, I have had no luck at the Escort Intro site, even though I paid.
My theory is websites change and traffic to them changes. What may not have been good before may be good today.
As I inferred in my original post, this everclassify,
http://afterdark.everclassify.com is the e first I have seen of the CL, BP type of setup that I feel clearly identifies its desire to separate the adult advertisement section. I have a lot of respect for people who try to keep the adult areas for adults only.
The net is crazy and filled with access to adult sites. I even pay for RTA. (Restricted to Adults)
http://www.rtalabel.org/ This prevents my dot com from showing up as easily on a web search when the settings of the search is set to higher restriction/more filtering/ family safe. So what if I lose business over that? To me, it's the right thing to do since I insist on living in the world of Adult Entertainment.
I will continually wish new sites luck with their endeavors. I hope that some of my references to websites along the way has given both ladies, and men alike, great informative places to click!! ;-)
