Thinking of going to the casinos in oklahoma in a couple of weeks, but dont know which casino I should go to. I have never been to a casino, and with the variety of people on eccie, Im sure some of the ladies and gents may have some input. Is one better than the other? thanks

If you're going to show a lady a good time winstar is better. If your're big dollar slots player then choctaw in durant is better in my opinion.

I prefer the card tables at Winstar. My SO plays the slots there regularly and does well. I will be there myself on the 25th thru the 27th, in a comped room of course!

Choctaw as mentioned seems to hit bigger pots on the slots. Nicely remodeled.

I hit the tables and poker room at Winstar regularly and for a redneck casino, it's built itself up pretty nicely. They're getting better on their comp's so I've not tried Choctaw.

The last time I went to Winstar they didn't have craps, and they only had electronic roulette.

Choctaw has roulette and craps, but they are played with cards, not with dice and a ball. Sounds weird, but it still works.

For craps, instead of rolling dice, the "shooter" calls out a number and the dealer burns that many cards and then turns over the next two cards. Those are the two "dice".

For roulette, the wheel has cards in slots and the wheel spins. The dealer makes the wheel stop spinning with a pointer. When the wheel stops, the card is pulled from the slot that pointer is on. That is the winning number.

Seems like going to Shreveport might be the best bet.

I'd recommend Shreveport. 5 different casinos and many of our beautiful Dallas ladies travel there. Just look at the ads.

Shreveport Casinos have REAL craps with real dice.
It's a long ride to get there but IMHO, it's worth it. (2.5 hours.)
REAL casinos have REAL dice, not some made up kids game.

I like Winstar, and Choctaw.

Try Choctaw first.

But Shreveport is way better.

Vegas has my vote all the way.

Pretty interesting...not sure its as fun as playing on the dices and rolling one down the table.

There is a new airline (or at least new to me) flying out of Dallas with some very good deals to Las Vegas, called Spirit Airlines. I've seen fares recently below $200 round trip.
