Sex Addict

This is a serious question so please give serious answers.

I hope I don't get yelled at tomorrow.

This afternoon I was texting with a friend/fellow hobbyist and he asked me "Do you think I'm a sex addict". Of course I said "hell yeah, I am too". I said that anyone that pays for sex on a weekly basis is a sex addict in my opinion.

I think I am a sex addict. It is July 14th at 12:30am and I've just got home from a bj in a Krogers parking lot from a girl that just called me out of the blue asking to blow me. I haven't seen or heard from this girl in 4 months. I mean what the fuck? I have to be a sex addict.. right?

So earlier today when he asked, I didn't put alot of thought into it and just said "yeah, your a fucking sex addict". But tonight on my 30 minute drive back at midnight, with the sunroof open, smoking my cig, AC/DC blaring through the stereo, I wondered.. How can I not be a sex addict? Do I need help? Do I need to seek out a steady SO? or do I just say fuck it and keep on truckin'?


So the question is:
Do you think that being a Hobbyist/Provider classifies you as a sex addict?

Well, now that you bring it up. I have been called a sex addict by a provider before. I searched a sex addiction site and answered "yes" to almost every question they had to "determine" if a person was or not.
But I tend to disagree.
I rarely hobby on impulse.
I don't hobby beyond my financial means.(Unlike other addictions cause individuals to)
I "plan" and use tools to schedule a date with a woman I find appealing for what I would think is a reasonable price.
If all my criteria isn't satisfied I keep looking.
At worst I'd say I'm addicted to encounters with strangers.
Does that sound like the "irrational" behavior of an addicted person?

I would say yes, I am a sex addict. IMO, the best providers are all sex addicts and the worst providers do it strickly for the money.

As for the client side, I'm not sure. I highly doubt that all my clients are sex addicts.

Some just don't get sex enough (or at all) from their wives so they have no choice. I find the rest of my clients who are not married are either in grad school and study all the time or have a job that demands so much from them they don't have time to date or even cruise the bars looking for a NSA encounter.

lol ... as long as you are not hurting anyone or forcing anyone to do anything they do not want to do, you have nothing to feel bad about.

And this is coming from a girl with a few psychology credits under her belt.

Jack - Have you ever seen the episode of strange sex [on discovery health] where the lady was actually going to crack houses and having sex with all the junkies because she knew she could always find a willing man there? The crazy part was she did not even do drugs.

Now her behavior was highly risky and very dangerous. She needed help.

Nah... No one is ever a sex addict....
But No really I have thought alot about what really makes a sex addict. I mean really... Just because some people feel that it is not ethical to do it labels alot of people as sex addicts. In reality we are just like any other beast out there with urges. Everyone is different on how strong those urges are. Now I am not saying that some people dont take it to far because they do when they do it with intent to harm the other person. But to call yourself a sex addict because your always horny, I think is something that society has brought on into the world to make those that never want sex to feel secure about themselves. Really what is a normal sex drive? Even some men that swear they can go without when the wife says no are in the bathroom with the lube out when she is alseep. So as far as the question Jack asked, I would say no we are all just different in our way... Why use a label?

IMO if you put sex above all else, including family and bills then you're a sex addict. Basically I think it just boils down to discipline.

Is being a sex addict bad if I consistently let chicks fall in love with me while I know the whole time that I'm only with them for the sex and that the relationship is eventually going to end very painfully and ugly.

I've had girls cuss me out, vandalize my car, stalk me, threaten me, and even physically attack me when they've realized that I never had any intention of staying with them and that I was only in it for the sex the whole time. I even get very emotionally hurt when I end up breaking a girl's heart, to the point where I've actually cried a few times.

And you know what? I keep doing it! It's like banging my head against the wall, seriously. I simply don't have it in me to turn down sex with hot chicks, even if I know I'm going to end up hurting her and myself in the end.

And that's in addition to hobbying at least once a week, and jacking off to porn on a pretty regular basis. I don't know if everyone will believe this but I've had days where I've jacked off in the morning, banged a civilian gf, then banged a provider, then banged another civilian gf, then jacked off again before going to bed at night. Sometimes I wonder wtf is wrong with me.
