To all you Dads and single Moms, who take on that role...just wanted to say, Hope you have a great Fathers day!
To the fathers of Younger children:
Being a Father is one of the highest honors. Your children look up to you to lead them.
To little boys, dads are the most important image they have to understand what being a Father and Husband is supposed to be.
To little girls, you are the model of what their future husband should be.
Trust me, not having my own father around and an abusive step father, I can attest to the fact that little girls are affected in a very negative way, when they don't have their daddy.
To the fathers of older children:
Congrats on your hard work! Today is your day to sit back and reap the benefits of being the great father you have always been!
To the single Moms:
Ladies keep your heads up! We are strong creatures! The ultimate honor was given to us. One day, that knight in shining armor will come and sweep us off our feet and love our babies as much as they love us! It's not a fantasy..just have patience.
While you are celebrating with your children today...remember, you are the only daddy they have. Make it good!
