I was looking in the forum rules and could not find anything that said BCD Members and Providers are not supposed to date. I was a member on ASPD and remember something going on about a provider and member in a relationship. Is that still frowned upon??

I was involved with aspd a little bit (including Houston) and really do not remember anything like what you are asking as being frowned upon. Really no one's business other than those involved as far as I'm concerned.

Fraternization; it's not easy to sound out, I always leave out the "r" myself.

I don't think it is 'frowned' upon. In most cases, though the issue presented is that in MANY MANY cases 'NORMAL' successful relationships in the civilian world are difficult enough to happen/maintain and our hobby world adds extra layers of complexity to the situation. With that in mind - go have fun and if it can work - & does work - for 'you' (speaking in general here) then great!!!

II know of one married couple who post on the boards. The husband is still a hobbyist and the wife is still a provider. I"m sure there are other such couples, but that one is well-known .
